chapter 50

~day of audition~

Aspens pov

'You ready Aspen?' Eddie asks me 'yeah. I'm excited.' I tell him, 'best of luck' Eddie says giving me a hug. I leave to walk to where the Audition is.

'Hello Aspen Mcqueen. I have an audition at 11.30' I say to the person who was signing people in, 'thank you Aspen. Please take a seat and they will call you in when it's time' they say. I walk to where the seats are, I look around at the other girls auditioning they all looked very pretty, but somewhat stereotypical where as I was diffrent, I didn't fit the norm. When it was time I got called in.

'So Aspen tell us about yourself' Joe russo asks. I talk about how I live with my brother who brought me up, that we move here a few months ago due to my brothers work. 'Anything unique?' Anthony russo asks. I was nervous about this one 'I have a prospetic leg. I lost it a few years ago' I say, 'any other talents?' Joe asks 'I am quite musical. I can play the guitar and piano. I also can skateboard'  I say.

'Thank you Aspen, if you can now act the script we sent' Anthony asks. I went on and did the audition. At the end Joe russo spoke 'Thank you Aspen. That was an amazing audition. We will be in touch'  'thank you for the audition. I look forward to hearing back from you' I say shaking their hands before leaving the room.

I looked at the time and saw it was 1.00pm, I sent Eddie a text 'just popping to a cafe to get some lunch. You want anything??' I walk to the cafe before I get inside I see Eddie sent me a text 'yes please' 'okay I'll get it and I'll bring it home for us' I then headed inside, I ordered the food and drinks, as I was waiting I saw out the corner of my eye, Gym Guy and Chris. I had my earphones in so once I collected my food and drinks I left the cafe and headed home.

'I'm home Eds' I call out. 'I'm in the living room' he calls back. I close the door before walking to join him 'here we are Eds' I say 'thanks Asp. How did it go?' He asks. I tell him all about it as we have lunch 'one of the questions was asking about anything unique, so I said about my prospetic leg. I just said I lost it in an accident.' I tell him.

Chris's Pov

Over the last weeks I had noticed people moving bits into the place next to me, they didn't really talk much. They were moving in furniture and diffrent items, once they had finished they locked up and left, the place has been quite for a while. The first I new of the new neighbours was hearing someone play some instruments.

I was meeting Seb in a cafe, 'so how's your week been' I ask him 'it was okay, saw the two people in the gym again. She was working on the weights, the guy was telling her what to do. It felt strange. What about you' Seb says 'well I think I have some new neighbours move in recently, I can sometimes hear someone playing piano or guitar in there. I think there's a bedroom next to mine.' I say 'but I did meet someone' 'oooooh' seb says smiling 'not like that. I met her in the music shop as I was looking for some new vinyls. She was in there shopping also looking at vinyls, gave her some recommendations. She was with another guy though.' I say  'maybe you will meet again' seb tells me. 'Maybe. Maybe you will meet your mystery gal.' I tell him. 

After finishing we go our separate ways, I head back home. When I walk in I pass my neighbours door I can hear someone playing guitar. I went into my room to chill and I heard my neighbour playing their piano I think they were playing a song by The Vamps, who ever was singing sounded sad.

Aspens pov

After talking to Eddie, he told me he was popping out to the shops, I decided to play my guitar for a bit in the livingroom. I felt the need to play my keyboard so I went into my room and started playing 'Treading Water' whilst playing it reminded me of who I had to leave, I miss them all so much, I had to leave my dog tag at home which I  gave Tris one before I left for training, whilst packing I took it off and layed it with the picture I have of Tris on my bedside table.

Tristan's pov.

It's been 2 months since Elizas left, with her leaving like that couldn't stay in our room at joes as it reminded me off her, I told Joe I was going to stay with the lads for a while. Seeing her leave like that broke my heart, no explanation. As soon as the door shut I collapsed to the floor crying I look to see Joe also in tears, we did not know why this has happened or what caused it, I'm so scared that I will never see her again.

Aspens pov

I went to bed early as I was tired, Eddie has come home 'I'm off to bed Eds' I say 'night Asp' he tells me giving me a hug. I got ready for bed falling asleep as soon as my head hit my pillow. As I was sleeping I started to get flashbacks of when I lost my leg. I felt trapped and couldn't wake up

Eddie's pov.

I was in my bed just falling to sleep when I woke up suddenly to Aspen screaming, I rushed to her room to see her thrashing about 'Aspen' I say she wasn't responding 'Aspen wake up' I tell her shaking her after a while she wakes up 'Aspen what happened' I ask her she shakes her head, she looks so scared, I climb into her bed. She was still shaking I move her so she her head is on my chest 'listen to my breathing' I say wrapping my arm around her. She soon falls asleep, I reach to turn on one of the bedside lamps so it wasnt completely dark. I lay with her till the morning.

'Morning Eds' I look to see Aspen looking up at me 'morning Asp, how are you feeling?' I ask 'okay. I think' she tells me 'you want to get breakfast?' I ask 'yeah' she replies, we walk into the kitchen and I make her a cup of tea before I start on breakfast. After breakfast we sit on the sofa 'want to talk about it?' I ask 'it was when' she says touching her prospetic 'oh Asp I'm sorry' I say pulling her close.

Chris's pov

I had headed to bed during the night I was woken up by screaming coming from next door, I could faintly hear someone talking, before falling back to sleep. 

The next morning I woke up as I was meeting Seb at the gym. 'You look tired mate' He tells me 'woke up during the night' I say 'why?' He ask 'the neighbour was screaming last night.' I say 'must of been not good as I heard faint talking'. I put the last of my bits in my locker before walking to the treadmill 'Come on seb let's work out'  I say.
