Tristan's pov,

Today is the day I am going to propose.

'Morning love' I say to Eliza, 'morning tris' she replies cuddling into me 'sleep well?' I ask, 'yes thanks, I'm looking forward to tonight' she replies 'me too' I say smiling.

I reach to my bedside table draw and get out the card. 'Els, this is for you' I say handing her a card and present, 'aw thank you tris.

She opens the card first, it has pictures of us on the front, she opens it and reads the card.

' to my dear Eliza,

I love you more than words describe, to mean the world to me, I continue to look forward to making many happy memories with you.

'Thank you tris, that is so lovely' she says 'that's alright love' I say. She opens the present next, I gave her a bracelet with the infinity symbol on which had enscribed forever and always. I look to see Eliza in tears, 'hey, Eliza what's up, please don't cry' I say cupping her face wiping her tears  'it perfect tris, I love it, what have I done to deserve you' she says. 'You are an amazing and special person who would do anything for anyone' I say kissing her forehead before pulling her in for a hug, 'thank you tris' she says hugging me. 

Elizas pov.

I gave tris his card first, and on the front was the very first picture we had together, when I was still at the protection centre and next to it was a picture dad took when he asked me to be his girlfriend. Tris opens the card and begins to read.

'Dear Tris,

Happy Anniversary,

Thank you for all you do for me, cheering me up when I am down, being a shoulder to lean on and my rock.

From the first day I Met you all those years ago, I  knew you would be the one for me.

I love you more than words can describe, I look forward to the many adventures we have to come.

'Aw thank you babe that is so sweet of you' tris says, I hand him his present and he opens it, I gave him a photo album of pictures of the two of us. 'That's not all' I say handing a box, he opened it.

Inside was a scrapbook/ photo album with a tag 'here's to adventure yet to come'. I thought we could create a scrapbook of our adventures to look back on' I say 'thank you els I love it' tris says hugging me, 'I look forward to future adventures.'

We cuddled in bed for a bit longer, 'I'm looking forward to tonight, what time do I need to be ready for?' I ask '6.30 love,' tris says. We head into the kitchen for some breakfast 'I've booked you in for an appointment at the hair and beauty salon so you can be pampered and relax before tonight, it's all on me' tris says, 'aw thank you tris, you didn't have to, you know. I say 'I know, but you deserve to be treated.' 

'Morning love birds' we head we look to see dad entering, 'morning' we reply 'looking forward to tonight?' He asks, 'yes dad, tris has treated me to a pamering session before tonight' I say 'I will take you if you like, and you can get ready upstairs too, as your outfit is already up there' dad says 'that's would be amazing, thanks dad' I say hugging him 'no problem pet'.

Tristan's pov

Joe has just taken Eliza to her appointment and is on his way back after picking up the last few bits for tonight. Brad con and james are already here helping me set up the garden.

We hang lights around the edge, place a table in the middle but just to the right, set the chairs out. Joe has started to prep the courses, we had closed the curtains but kept the door open.

'James' I ask, 'yes mate how can I help,' James reply, 'would you like to collect Eliza from upstairs when it's time and bring her down' I ask, 'I would be honoured Tris' He says. 

We had only the last fews bits to set up at last minute once Eliza is upstairs, 'tris Eliza is ready. So I am going to collect her do you all want to go into your room to get ready and I will take upstairs to mine so she can get ready' Joe asks, 'that would be great thanks' I reply.

When Joe leaves to get Eliza we head back in closing the door curtains  before   heading to our room to get dressed into our suits. 'I'm nervous mate' I said to James, 'what if she says no' James puts a hand on my shoulder 'tris, she won't say no, she loves you more than anything in the world, to her you are her world' James says, that made me feel better.

Elizas pov.

Dad had just dropped me off for my appointment, he said to call or text when I am ready.

We did my hair first, wash blow dry and curled, we then did my nails, and make up. Once we had finished I texted dad to let him know and he said he's on his way.

'You look beautiful els' dad says, 'thanks, I can't wait for tonight' I say, we got in the car and drove back home, once home we went upstairs to dad's room so I can get ready, I put on my dress which was a light, pastle blue dress, some flats,I realised I left my bracelet which tris got me today downstairs on the dressing table along with the locket. 'Dad, can you pop down to my room to get my locket and bracelet which tris gave me today please' I ask 'of course I can, where is it's asks 'on my dressing table' I reply dad heads out the door and returns not long after.

Tristan's pov,

I was ready when I heard a knock on the door i when to answer, 'hi Joe, how can I help' I say. 'I've just come to get elizas locket  and the bracelet you gave her today' he says 'of course come in ' I say. He collects the things before leaving and heading back up stairs.

We all head out of the room closing  the door and scatter a trail of rose petals from the stairs to the doors leading to the garden, brad and con wish me luck before hiding and james heads outside with me, 'all the best mate, see you soon' He says, I place the ring box in my pocket to wait for Eliza.

Elizas pov,

Dad had came back with the locket and the bracelet.

I heard a knock at the door and I went over to open it.
