chapter 41

Elizas pov

Dad and Riles open the curtains and we look out to the garden to see a tent. 'Come look' dad says leading us into the garden. We look in the tent to see airbeds for all of us. 'The double is for Tris and Els' dad says. 

'Wow thanks' I say 'for food we have burgers on the barbecue and smores' Riles says. 'I love smores' I say.

On the double bed is my pillow, bear which tris got me and our blanket. I go over to hug dad and Riles 'thank you' I say, 'that's okay, I hope you all have fun tonight' Riles says

We climb into the tent and sit chatting 'here you are Els' James says passing me the rainbow bear he won for me, 'thanks James' I say giving him a hug. 'Shall we watch a movie?' Tris asks us all 'yeah' we all reply. I watch as he heads inside coming out a few minutes later with his laptop. 'What shall we watch?' He asks 'Marvel?' I ask.

Tris sets up Netflix and we look at the marvel films, we decided on Captain America the first avenger. Before we play it James and Tris went inside to get drinks and snacks from the kitchen, bringing them out they put the snacks in the middle of us. I sit next to Tris, he moves the blanket off our bed wrapping it around us, placing his arm around my waist I lean into him resting my head on his shoulder.

Joe's pov

Eliza and the lads are in the tent watching a movie. As the movie was ending I begin to cook the burgers on the barbecue. 'Something smells nice' I hear, I look round to see Eliza coming out of the tent, 'you okay?' I ask her 'yeah just popping to the toilet' she says before heading inside to her room.

'Joe?' I hear I look round to see tristan, Where's Els?' He asks me 'she has just popped to the toilet in your room' I tell him 'burgers are just being cooked' I say. 'Ta joe' tris replies smiling, I watch him walk towards their room

Tristan's pov

Eliza left the tent, I heard her talking to Joe outside, after a few minutes I went out to see where she was, Joe was cooking the burgers he told me that Els has just popped to the toilet in our room, I headed inside to see if she is okay. Walking to the door I see the door to our bathroom closed, 'els are you okay?' I ask 'yeah I am tris. Just changing' she replies, I sit on our bed waiting after a few minutes the door opens and she walks out wearing joggers and one of our band which she wears at night sometimes. 'Hey' she says 'hey love, how are you feeling?' I ask her walking over to her 'I'm okay, just a bit tired' she replies wrapping her arms around me, I wrap my arms around her kissing the top of her head, 'We've had a fun day today' I say. 'We have. I enjoy spending time with you all' she says looking up at me, 'shall we head back before they eat all of the food?' I ask 'yeah' she replies. I pick her up and carry her back outside just in time to see Joe finishing of the burgers.

'Your just in time' Joe says I put Eliza down as he hands us both burgers before the other as they come out of the tent. We all sit round a small barbecue on the grass ready for the smores. 'Thanks dad. This is yummy' Eliza says 'that's okay' Joe says.

After Joe and Riles plate up their burgers they sit down with us, 'so how was your day?' Riles asks. 'It was alot of fun, I enjoyed it' Eliza says 'we went on rides some of them we got photos on it so we got a printed and digital copy' James says. 'Yeah the physical is for Eliza and Tris, it was so much fun. I enjoyed spending time with them all' Brad says 'I saw Eliza looking at one of the prizes on one of the game stands, do whilst she was in the shops with brad and Con. Tris and I tried to win it for her, which I managed to do.' James says.

After we had finished the burgers we began making smores, Eliza had 2 smores where as the others had more. I felt her lean into me as I was eating mine, looking down I see her beginning to fall asleep, she kept trying to wake herself up 'you can sleep if you want' I tell her, 'I don't want to miss out time with you all' she says 'it's okay if you want to sleep' James says.

Eliza moves so she's is sitting on my lap with her head on my shoulder. After a few moments she falls back to sleep, once I had finished my smore I wrap my arms around her, kissing the top of her head. I see James heading into the tent returning with the her blanket, he lays it over her before getting his guitar and begins to play and sing, brad and con join into. It is so nice having this moment with everyone.

'Hey' I hear a quite voice say, looking down I see Eliza awake. 'How are you feeling?' I ask 'I'm good thanks tris' she replies smiling. Eliza climbs of my lap and walks over to James, 'thanks for today' she says giving him a hug. 'That's okay,' James says 'I remember when I first met you, you had asked me where the police station. At the time I was confused why you needed to know but I now know why you were asking. I never forgot about you.' James continues kissing the top of her head.

Eliza sits down between Brad and con, 'I remember when we were skateboarding  and I helped you steer which led us to falling into the Bush in the front garden. ' brad says 'that was so much fun' Eliza says hugging him. 'I'm sorry I kept running when you questioned who I was, I had been in the protection centre since I was 2 and it was what I was told what to do' she continues. 'It's okay. We all found each other again.' Connor says hugging her.

We continue chatting and sharing memories before we head into the tent to get to sleep. I pull back the duvet before laying down and Eliza following suit, 'night els' I whisper kissing her forehead 'night Tris' she replies before kissing my lips. 'Night all' Eliza calls out. The others reply by saying 'night'. Eliza moves so her head is on my chest, I wrap my arm around her holding her close before I fall asleep
