Lance woke up, a weight on top of him. Lance's eyes slowly opened and he looked down to see Keith lying on top of him. His eyes widened and his face went a familiar red. 'Wow, we really fell asleep.' Lance laughed at this and accidentally woke the other.
"Mm.. Lance?" Keith looked up to see Lance's smile.
"Hey, Keith.." Lance's laughter calmed.

The way Keith looked right now.

Lance wanted to...

The brunette's eyes landed on Keith's lips that laid a centimeter apart from each other. His hair laid messy and his beautiful violet doe eyes gazed back innocently. He found it so interesting how doe like they looked right now and how quick they could turn to that of siren ones.

Lance had always wanted to tell Keith how much he... But he just couldn't. They were supposed to be rivals yet Lance adored Keith. Even if sometimes he wouldn't admit it to himself. He'd tell himself he loved Allura or any other girl whether they be alien or human.. but in the end they were all just distractions from... Well, Keith.

"You're beautiful." Lance spoke without thought. Keith's eyes went wide and his face instantly flushed.
"W-What?"
There was a sudden knock at the door. "Hey, Keith! It's Hunk, are you awake?" Keith's face went a deep red. Lance was embarrassed by his words, his hands over his mouth.
"L-Lance, go hide in my closet. If Hunk sees you in here he'll get the wrong idea and we won't hear the end of it." Keith whispered. Lance's hands fell. 'They'll get the wrong idea.' Right, Lance was simply a fool to think Keith thought of Lance as anymore than just his rival. Just yesterday he made Keith cry, of course he didn't like him like that.

The brunette hurried over to the closet slipping inside. Keith took a deep breath in and out and then opened the door. "Hunk." Keith greeted.
"Good morning." Hunk smiled nervously. He was clearly very worried about Keith.
"Good morning." Keith repeated.
"Are you alright?" Hunk asked the question Keith didn't really want him to.
"I'm fine, Hunk really. Don't worry." Keith answered quick.
"Did.. Uh... Did Lance come to apologize?" And with that question Keith had started to assume the worst of Lance.
"Oh, wait, did you send.. him?" Keith's eyebrows furrowed. He looked to his closet doors and then back at Hunk. He was hurt. Lance had only apologized because Hunk had put him up to it.

Lance stood still in the closet instantly noticing Keith's change in posture and his expression that turned to one of uncertainty. He wanted to just come out and stop Keith's thoughts and assumptions right then but Hunk was still present.

"Wait, he really did apologize? I thought he wouldn't." Hunk wasn't fully relieved though once he realized what he'd said had made Keith's unusual calm body posture turn back to its usual tensity. "Keith, did I say something wrong?" Hunk asked worried.
"It's nothing. I'll be out in a minute, I need to change."
"Oh, okay. I made breakfast if you-"
"I'm good." With that Keith closed the door. He stared at it for a moment lost in thought.

Keith didn't even hear his closet door open. "Keith, Hunk did tell me to apologize but-"
"Did you mean any of it?" Keith asked his body posture stiff and defensive.
"Of course I did. You have to know I did." Lance was pretty desperate to hear Keith say that he believed him but he didn't. He only looked down.

"Don't lie to me." Keith was back to being closed off. Lance watched as Keith hugged himself.
"Keith, I'm being serious. I wouldn't mess with you like that. Please." Lance came closer looking down at Keith who refused to look back. "Look, yes Hunk told me to apologize but.. I really am sorry. You have to know that I.." He paused. Keith was still facing away from him still hugging himself.

He didn't want to lose Keith, he couldn't. Last night they'd totally had a bonding moment, no, more than that. Lance hadn't felt anything as much as he had last night for anyone.

Lance's hands reached out and cupped Keith's face. Those purple eyes finally landing on him. The tension still visible Lance continued. "Keith, I didn't want to tell you now.. I... But I need you to understand.. How much I... Regret saying those things to you. You're not unbearable because I want to.. I want you." Lance confessed but he still couldn't say it exactly how he wanted. Keith looked as if he were waiting for more, for Lance to say one last thing. "And.." Lance paused.

"And..." The brunette looked panicked. Keith assumed what he was trying to say but he wasn't sure if it was really what he wanted to say.

"Fuck.." Lance squeezed eyes shut and then opened them. There was an intensity in his face that intimidated the other for once.
"Lance..?" Keith stood still patiently waiting for Lance to speak his mind.
"Keith, I know you're an actions over words type of guy and for some reason I can't bring myself to say it so.." Lance inched closer slowly waiting for a possible push or shove from Keith but there was nothing.

Was it possible that Keith wanted this just as much as he had?

Lance closed his eyes and the twos lips connected. Still, no shoving nor pushing, nothing. Just a kiss. Clearly Keith had never kissed anyone before, he was completely frozen as Lance kissed him with what experience he had. After a while Keith pulled away. Lance thought it was a sign of rejection but in reality Keith just couldn't breathe. He coughed and then he started to laugh. "H-Huh? K-Keith are you laughing at me?!" Lance whined embarrassed.

"No! No.. well, yes.. at both of us!" Keith's smile wouldn't allow Lance to be mad at him for long. "It's just that was my first kiss.. And you were my first kiss!" He paused. "We've liked each other this whole time and we've been so stupid!" Keith continued to laugh. Lance felt his face heat up even more than it had been before.
Lance came forward and took Keith into his arms hugging him tightly. Keith stopped laughing and placed a hand onto Lance's back and the other into his hair. "Lance-"

"I love you, Keith." Lance's arms wrapped tighter around his waist. "I really do."

"I love you, too." Keith sunk his head into Lance's shoulder. Lance felt a smile form onto Keith's face. This feeling.. Was foreign to Keith but he loved it.
