"And my answer will be no, I'm not going to shoot you so you could get attention from Stella." Jaxon snarled, looking at me as if I was insane. In return, I rolled my eyes, unable to believe him. Aren't we best friends? How could he not shoot me so I could win her heart back?

"You'll only use a gun, shoot me and I'll go ask her to take out the bullet. Jaxon, don't let me remind you what happened when you caused Liliana to crash, still in my head."

"You can't use that against me, you broke Stella's heart."

"That's different!" I stood up, a defense feeling growing on me. "I didn't choose to break her heart, I was forced to. And I am determined to have her, and I will. It's only a matter of time and we will be together."

"What are you guys yelling about? By the way, be careful when you enter, there's a mess inside." Liliana walked in, her palm on her pregnant stomach. I couldn't understand what she meant by a mess. The second she appeared, Jaxon had a smile on his face. "PDA, once again," I grunted, taking the cue to leave because Liliana was already pulled on his lap.

The mansion was a mess, Marcella and Avery were running around in the kitchen while Stella was trying to stop Christian from crying. She held him awkwardly in her arms, trying to sing a lullaby. Fuck, she's going to make a crazy but perfect mother.

"What the hell is going on?" I asked Damon and Alessio.

"We're having guests, do you know Nico Vitalio, he and his Father are coming for dinner," Damon answered. I wasn't surprised, I had expected dinner from the Irish Mob Nico, but I didn't expect his Father and his wife to come as well.

"Damon, why couldn't you tell me this earlier? I didn't cook enough!" Marcella yelled walking back into the dining room and placing the roasted chicken on the table. Avery followed her, unable to run with the bottles of wine she was holding.

"Angel, you cooked too many things." Damon's voice wasn't half as anxious as his wife's.

"This is the Irish family we're talking about, they are too classy! Have you seen Nico Vitalio in gala's, he scares me, he's too calm but too feared." Marcella's reason was understandable, the Irish mob's reputation wasn't very cherished, they were monsters.

Damon's body tensed. "You don't have to be scared, they know who you are."

The doorbell rang, and everyone in the dining room tensed. "You open the door!" Avery jumped, pointing at Marcella.
