"Ok, but have you ever tried salt with water?" Matthew asks Ricky

"No, why the fuck would I try that?"

"Yeah, who even tries that!" Says Gunwook, a friend of Matthew. Matthew stays silent before raising his hand

"Hear me out..."

"Oh my god Matthew, why would you even try that?" I say between laughs

"It's not that bad once you try it okay?!" he says in a insulted tone

"Sure..." Ricky says, his face showing disgust "anyways, do y'all know where Gyuvin is?"

"No. Last time I saw him was in class," I say "now that I think about it, he's probably with Taerae"

"Who?" Ricky asks

"A boy from our class. They seem pretty close" I say

"Oh. Ok then" Ricky says in a quiet voice

"Or... he could be with Jiwoong" Matthew says, noticing how Ricky didn't like the sound of Taerae

"Speaking of Jiwoong, are you guys going on the trip all together to the beach?" I ask

"Yeah. I mean, I am" Matthew says while Gunwook shakes his head

"I want to stay here," he says "What about you? Ricky, Hanbin?"

"I'm not going. Ricky is though" I say. Ricky nods and I then notice him looking at the cafeteria door. I turn around to see Gyuvin with Taerae.

"Oh, I guess I was right" I whisper to Ricky.

Before I can say anything more, he stands up and walks towards the pair with determined steps. I see him tap Gyuvin's shoulder and tell him something, before looking at Taerae and smiling coldly at him. As he seems to walk away, I see Gyuvin grab at his lower arm to stop him from leaving, then tells him something, and then lets him go once again.

"What are you smirking at, Hanbin?" Cho asks, coming up to our table

"Oh, nothing special," I say with a smile, patting the empty seat next to mine that belonged to Ricky "how were classes?"

"Ugh, horrible. The English teacher screamed at me. The worst part is that I didn't understand what she was screaming at me about."

I laugh at her disappointed expression. She leans her head on the table and looks at me with tired eyes.

"Tired?" I ask. Instead of answering, she just slightly nods her head before picking at the food on the food tray

"Maybe after this go to the grass and sleep until the next class" I say

"Or you could just skip" Jiwoong says, who is in the process of sitting next to Matthew

Once me and Cho started hanging out, my friends also got closer to her and welcomed her as a new friend.

"No, I already skipped too many times" she says, shaking her head in gloom

"Or you could put ice cold water on your face" Matthew says while everyone else agrees

"I guess so..." she says. We stay in silence until Gyuvin comes with Taerae at his side

"Hey guys! This is Taerae by the way" He says with a smile, sitting down with his tray, Taerae following his lead. We all greet both warmly

"Hanbin, are you sure you don't wanna come to the beach? It'll be so fun" Jiwoong says

"No, I can't, sorry" I say. Cho looks around in confusion, not knowing what we are talking about
