the walk

"Hey Hanbin!" Cho says, walking up to my side. I smile at her as she takes my hand ever so slightly

"Hey. Sorry, we can't hang out today" I say

"Oh, I know. You told me this afternoon" I look at her with wonder

"Did I? Oh sorry I don't really remember. Math took away all my memory capacities." I say, feeling sorry for not remembering

"Yeah, no problem. That doesn't mean that you forgot about the escape room tomorrow, right?" She says, raising an eyebrow as if to expect me to not remember

"I remember that, don't worry" I say, laughing, and tapping her arm humorously 

"Oh, but I do worry," she smiles at me and this time takes my hand fully "can I walk you home?" I nod at her question

"Sure. Don't scare my sister off when we get there though"

"So you're going to invite me in?" She asks in a flirty way, big eyes looking at mine. I scratch my head with nervousness 

"Not really. I just meant that because Jude comes back home today around the same time as me"

"Oh" She says quietly, obviously embarrassed. I hold her hand tighter to make her feel less uneasy

"Anyways, we'll see each other tomorrow so it doesn't really matter" I say, smiling down at her

"Yeah. Oh, Ricky told me that he'll come, so did Gyuvin"

"Nice! Hey, can you send me the address later on?"

"Sure. It's not that far away from the school as well. Just a few blocks away" She says, and I nod. We stay in silence for a while, walking side to side, and appreciating the presence of the other

"Oh, right! Some girl called Camille came to talk to me after class," I turn my head to her direction to see her expression "do you know her?" She asks

"Sort of. What did she tell you?"

"She sort of just indirectly asked me if she could be tutored by you?"

"What do you mean"

"I don't really know. She just sort of came up to me and asked me if I'm the girl that gets tutored by you for English, and when I said yes, she said that it must be nice. After that she just said that she'll stop by next time" she says

"So she didn't really ask you?" I ask

"Yeah, she didn't really ask. She just invited herself I guess," she replies and I nod "so you do know her?" 

"Sort of. Like she helped me in math before... like once" I say, and Cho snorts

"So you don't really know her at all"

"Kinda. She used to follow me quite a lot before" I say uncomfortably, wanting this subject of conversation to change

"And what about now? Does she still follow you around a lot?" Cho asks, seeming honestly curious

"Not really. Now that I think about it, she's left me alone for two full weeks until today"

"Today? She talked to you today?" She asks. I slowly become annoyed at the continuous touch of this subject

"Yeah, she came up to me after I left you in the afternoon. She asked me if I could tutor her for English. I told her to ask you since I help you as well. Guess she didn't really ask you though" I reply slowly

"Right. If she bothers you one more time I'll punch her in the face" She says, punching the air with her fists. I laugh at her as we get closer to my house

"No you wouldn't" I say in return, knowing perfectly well that she would be way too scared to do so

"So maybe I wouldn't, but that doesn't matter. I'll fight her with my words" she says in a defensive way

"What does that even mean?" I say, laughing a lot more than previously

"Whatever. You just don't get me I guess" She says, dramatically rolling her eyes.

"I guess I don't,'' I say in return, stopping in front of my house and nudging at her arm that is linked with mine "this is my stop. Don't forget to send me the address" I say. Cho nods and claps my arm in a friendly way

"Sure," she looks behind me and waves "that's your sister, right? She's looking at us weirdly so I guess it is" 

I turn around to see Jude holding her backpack in a weird way, like she had just put something inside. Other than that, she was looking at us quite weirdly

"It is. Don't expect her to say hi back. She's just rude like that" I say, laughing to myself. Cho raises an eyebrow and nods

"I'll get going then. I'll text you later" She says, and I nod. I see her walk away, and when I turn around to see where Jude is, she seems to have already left. I sigh and open the door, only to see Jude taking of her shoes

"Are you going to ask me who she is or..." I say

"No? Why would I. It's not like she's your girlfriend, because you could never pull a girl as pretty as that" She says, making it the longest she's ever talked to me.

"Well, actually-" I try to protest, but Jude cuts my sentence 

"And anyways, you look more like a gay guy to me, not gonna lie" She says, taking her backpack back in her arms and stalking off. I look at her silhouetted back and sigh. 

"I'm not gay! And anyways, Cho and I do have something going on, for your information" I shout, feeling annoyed

"Sure, keep dreaming" She shouts back, but in a calmer way, making me even more annoyed

"What do you mean by that?" I say, running up the stairs behind her

"What do I mean by what?" 

"By what you just said. You seem to not believe that we have something between us"

"Because I don't. I won't believe it until I see it, and anyways, you still seem gay to me"

"What the fuck? I'm not, seriously. And why won't you believe that we like each other"

"Bro... she literally patted your arm in the most buddy-like way. That's proof enough"

"So you're judging from only seeing one interaction of ours? That's so unfair. You should see all the others"

"Yeah, yeah whatever. And anyways, why are you following me?" She replies, her voice annoyed

"First of all, this is my room that I happen to allow you to sleep in. And second of all, I'm supposed to be babysitting you" I reply, with an even more annoyed voice

"Whatever"

idk somehow at the house we've been staying at the wifi rll wasn't working, and whenever it did, it was rll bad. I continued to write though so I have many chapters ready!!!
