Situation 3 - attraction
Libraries. I don't mind them.
Not gonna lie, I would rather be home, chilling and watching some movie. But you know, with Cho, everything is better.
She came to me before fifth period, and asked if I could help her studying at the library. I don't know why she asked me, out of all people, to help her study. Because I never really study. I pretend I do, just to make people think that I actually work for those good grades. That's why I always make sure to take perfect notes in class.
So, here I am, explaining a math equation to Cho.
And once again, why am I, out of all people, helping her with math? Honestly, I have no idea. Everyone knows that its a mistake asking for my help when it comes to math. But its fine, It's not like Cho is actually listening to my explanations. She's been doing this work by herself all along. I just act like I'm explaining to feel better about myself and to make myself seem useful.
"Can you pass me the book?" I hear Cho say
"Which one?"
"The big blue one. No, not that one!" Cho says, laughing. She stands up and walks up to me, taking a green book.
"That's green" I state. She stares at me, then at the book
"No.. That's blue" She says. I shake my head
"Turquoise is definetely green. Go search it up!" Cho looks at me and laughs
"Fine, I will! I'm one hundred percent sure its blue" She says, opening her laptop and logging in. I stare at her, smiling at the small but nevertheless comforting and fun conversation. Arguing with her is funner than with Ricky. I smile to myself, and move over to where Cho stands to look at her computer.
"Excuse me," someone says from behing us "I didn't mean to overhear you guys, but turquoise is actually both colors. It's a mix of green blue, and medium blue. Sorry to interrupt by the way"
I look at the boy, clearly younger than me, smiling kindly but also awkwardly. I smile, to not make the boy uncomfortable, and turn to look at Cho
"I guess we were both right" I say
"Great minds don't think alike, I guess" she says in return. The boy laughs at her dad joke and looks at both of us, as if waiting for us to say something. I clear my throat
"Uhm, you new here or something?" I ask. The boy nods his head with nervousness.
"What's your name?" Cho asks kindly
"Yujin. Han Yujin"
