' how many times do i have to explain this? '

CELENA WILSON WAS DREAMING AGAIN. But this time she was falling. Because of her stupid slut of an uncle. Celena screamed as she plummeted to the ground. She cursed Apollo for existing, flailing her arms to try and slow down, as she neared the ground. The earth was reaching up like it to high five her.

"No high five!" Celena screamed. "No high five!"

It wasn't even her fault. Sure she swore at Apollo for being an asshat. Sure she may have cursed at him for being a horrible uncle. Sure she may have—oh. Now looking back, Celena wondered if she really was at fault. It doesn't matter now. Celena Wilson was going to die because her uncle pushed her out of his chariot.

As she neared the ground, Celena screwed her eyes shut, bracing herself for the sickening crunch of all 206 bones in her body.

     Fuckfuckshitfuckfuck.

She was suddenly jerked back and stopped. She smelt grass and why was it tickling her nose? Celena opened her eyes, face-to-face with the ground. Her nose was barely touching the grass. Celena yelped as she realized she was suspended in air just a few inches away from the ground.

     THUD.

Now she was on the ground. Celena rubbed her nose as she looked around her. The familiar trees swayed as the leaves danced to wind. The cacophony of animal sounds reminded Celena of home. When Celena pushed herself off the ground, she realized where she was.

Celena was back at Camp Half-Blood.

Trudging her way forward, Celena tried to calm her excited nerves. She was going to see Chiron again. As she neared the Camp's border she noticed two things; one, the Golden Fleece that should be hanging on a branch of Thalia's tree was gone, and two, Thalia's tree was gone.

Celena looked up to the sky, hoping to make contact with Apollo when she noticed it wasn't sunny out. It was night and the moon was out of sight. Celena felt her heart race as she reached for her bracelets only to find them gone. Weaponless and in the new moon where she felt the most useless.

"No, it's not time for the new moon," Celena whispered, her eyes darting between the camp border and the open woods. "What the fuck?"

She took another step forward, wincing when a twig snapped underneath her foot. She was about to take another step when she heard sounds from her right.
