"Anyways Octavia, we got the tracking device out of your skin. So all that's left for me to do today, is to banish you from the pack, now get out."
Atlas said in a very deadly and lethal tone. The moment she could she had moved from inside the medical room and when in search of Atlas. She knew she would more than likely find him inside his office.
"You're banishing me from the pack?"
Octavia asked like a broken record, hardly believing that he would have the nerve to do so. She guessed all that talk of them being mates and how much he would. always love her was just that...all talk.
"How soon can you get that thing out of her arm?"
Atlas asked Dr.Rhodes as he carried a portable MRI machine to view the area. It was connected to his tablet and gave him real-time views as he examine her hand.
"In a few minutes Alpha. Fortunately, it seems as if it isn't connected to any of her veins or arteries."
Dr. Rhodes said as he instructed Octavia to lie on the medical bed.
"Good, the faster you work, the quicker I can get this traitor off of my lands. "
Alpha Atlas said as he took a seat across from them. He didn't trust her one bit. The second he took his eyes off her, was an opportunity she could use to stab him in his back. He felt as if his heart was being ripped out from his chest and being shredded into tiny little pieces. This was the way their story was supposed to end. They were supposed to have the wedding and the house with the big white picket fence and the 2.5 kids. You know the American dream. He looked at her, trying hard not to look at her, or else he might change his e mind. She made him weak, she made his wolf weak and ultimately he was better off without her. Right?
"Atlas, you have to believe me. I didn't know. Shortly before Ihereme her, they told me I had to do a medical procedure. I think they drugged me and planted the tracking device inside me without my knowledge. If I had known that I had a tracking device I would never have put you, the pack, or Luna-Mia in such a position..."
Octavia said as she tried to explain to Atlas as best as she could. Atlas didn't even acknowledge what she had said and instead turn to the doctor and asked.
"How much longer before she can leave?"
The look and her face, a look that spoke to how broken broke him, but he had to remember that she was the reason this was all happening. Dr. Rhodes turned to Atlas.
"Not at least for another day. I believe that we should monitor the Luna for at least a few more hours.."
Dr. Rhodes suggested as Atlas turned to him angrily
"She is no longer your Luna. Right now she is a traitor, which is even less than a rouge in my eyes. You give her a shot to numb the pain and then get her out of my fucking pack as soon as possible."
Alpha Atlas said venomously as Dr. Rhodes tried to talk reason into him.
"But Alpha.."
He pleaded as Atlas gave him a look that silenced him and at the same time let him know that the matter was no longer open for discussion.
"Please Dr, don't anger your Alpha any further on my behalf. I just ask that you take the tracking device out, so I can be on my way."
Octavia said a bit drowsy from all the medications that she currently had pumping through her system.
"Alpha, we have a problem with that. According to the MRI, if I remove the device, she may never have full use of her left arm. The device is wrapped around her nervous system."
