"Zyair, we must strike now. We finally have a location on the Huntress.".

One of his soldiers said as Zyair smiled heavily.

"Activate the troops. We move out at dawn."

Kolten said as the two men stood side by side, basking in the glory of what was to come.

Octavia left the pack that evening. The whole pack had gathered to see her off.

"You can't do this brother. She is your mate. Please see the reason, how can you be so heartless? I hate you. You are taking away the only sister I've ever had."

Luna-Mia screamed at Atlas as Octavia hitched the bag of supplies higher on her shoulders. She only carried one suit of clothes and some water.

"Is that all you're carrying? You have a whole closet full of clothes. What the hell am I going to do with all of your clothes?"

Atlas said as he realized that he was going to lose Octavia. Something wasn't right about the whole situation and he couldn't quite put his finger on it. And the fact that his wolf had gone silent on him attests to that fact.

He and Atticus had always had rough patches in their relationship, but he had never blocked their bond before. He couldn't communicate with his wolf.

"There are not mine. They belong to the Luna. Give them to my replacement.'

Octavia said as she watched the entire pack watching her, as she turned to address them.

"Please know this, I came here dispising your kind, hating werewolves for murdering my grandmother. But you have all taught me that not all werewolves are the same. Some are kind,"

She paused as she turned and looked at Luna-Mia.

"Some are forgiving."

She said as she looked at Beta Riggs.

"And others love because they know no other way."

She said as she referred to Dr. Rhodes. She finally turned to look at her mate and lover.

"Some are just hurt."

Octavia said as she looked at Atlas. And with those four words, she had peeled through his layer of indifference with ease. But he couldn't recall an order. She was still a traitor and he had to set a precedent for traitors inside the pack.

"Goodbye, Octavia."

Alpha Atlas said as Luna-Mia ran up to her, hugging perform behind.

"This is not right, don't go. I don't believe for a second the bullshit you are saying Atlas. She could have killed me, I don't believe she would ever knowingly put the pack in danger."

Luna-Mia proclaimed bravely as Atlas' anger tightened around him like a hangman noose. He wanted to believe her words, he wished that what Luna-Mia was saying was true...

But then again he couldn't.

"That's enough Luna-Mia. Let's go home."

Alpha Atlas said as he turned and walked repeatedly to his pack. For a man that had just kicked a traitor out of the pack, he was surely defeated and broken.

"You will live with this regret for the rest of your life, Atlas. You were the one who told me that loving your mate would not be all black and white, nor would it be all sunshine and roses, and yet at the first sign of difficulty you gave up on Octavia."

Luna-Mia yelled as the gravity of his situation finally dawned on him. Atlas' control finally snapped.

"And what the fuck do you want me to do? She betrayed us, she had a fucking tracking device in her arm."

Atlas pointed out as Luna-Mia said.

"Did you see the look on her face when she found out, it wasn't guilt or regret, it was total shock. Did it ever occur to you that maybe, just maybe, she had no fucking idea that she had a tracking device implanted in her!"

And just like that, all the pieces fell into place. He has heard that there were measures put in place to track their assets.

Octavia also mentioned that she had a medical done before she arrived. She said it was to take a few minutes, but ended up taking about three hours after they had put her to sleep.

So that would mean...

"Oh my god, Octavia. She didn't know that they had implanted a tracking device inside of her."

Atlas shouted in a cure, as Luna-Mia at back and smirked.

"Ding, ding, ding. And we have a winner. The only problem is that he is a day late and a mate short."

Luna-Mia said as she watched her brother break down. He grabbed his chest and he ripped off his shirt in anguish. It was as if he couldn't breathe.

His wolf was awake, his wolf was angry and as retribution, he had cut off his air supply.

"Beta Riggs, I need some help in here, now!"

Luna-Mia yelled as she struggled to reach her brother. She was angry at her brother and that didn't mean that she wanted him dead.

"What happened?"

Beta Riggs demanded as he assessed the situation. He didn't see any immediate threat but scanned the room anyway.

"I think he is having a panic attack. I pushed him too hard."

Luna-Mia said as Beta Riggs took over from her, easily maneuvering the Alpha's mountainous bear of a body into his arms.

"Luna-Mia go outside and shut the door behind you. Tell no one of this and let them know that we are not to be disturbed."

Beta Riggs said as he soothed his Alpha by rubbing his hair. He spoke softly and calmly.

"I know you want to fall apart right now, but you can't do that. You have a whole pack depending on you to stay strong."

Beta Riggs said as Atlas' heart slowed to a soft lull.

"Alpha."

Gamma Rehan burst into the room as Beta Riggs looked at him angrily.

"Somebody better be fucking dying!"

Beta Riggs yelled as the Gamma shrunk away.

"Worse than that, the pack is being attacked!''
