I was waiting outside of the Cobb theater and I looked at my phone and it read 2:50. I always come earlier when meeting people, I don't know why. All I know is that I've been doing this ever since I was little, I wish I was that sweet little girl again.
I hope I didn't look to under dressed for this. I was wearing a t-shirt that read I'm with the band and acid washed ripped skinny jeans with black converse shoes, I had a beanie that had all time low printed across it. I had my ear buds plugged in and I was listening to Almost by bowling for soup.
I looked up and saw a red chevrolet coming and parking towards me, I saw Charlie sitting in the front sear next to Mackenzie. The stepped out of the car and of course Mackenzie looked way more dressed up then me in her baby blue dress and blush pink heels. I pulled out one of my ear buds.
"Hey Aeron, I haven't seen you in awhile!" She came up to me and hugged me. "Because you were to busy fucking Charlie" I mumbled under my breath so she couldn't hear me. "What did you say?" She said kindly pulling away from the hug. "Oh I was just saying how happy I am to see you". Mackenzie responded with a nod. "Hey Aeron, haven't since yesterday" Charlie said.
I simply nodded feeling awkward with the two of them, I just don't know if there dating or if it was a one night stand.
We walked to go buy the tickets and we were now trying to pick what we wanted to eat, usually I sneak in food but Charlie said he'll pay. "Lets just get a large popcorn and some soda, simple". Mackenzie said looking at Charlie who was orginally wanting one of those individual pizzas. "Ok, lets just ask Aeron, she's been awfully quiet the whole time" Charlie said while looking at me.
"Um, I don't know what ever you guys want. I like pizza and popcorn" I secretly liked pizza more but I wasn't going to add fuel to the fire. "Let's just go with popcorn or we'll miss the movie". Mackenzie spoke while lightly hiting Charlie's arm and giggling. She was flirting right in front of me, it pained me. I wonder how Andy's going to feel.
I wanted to be her for some odd reason, I couldn't explain what feelings I had towards Charlie. "Ok lets get popcorn and soft drinks". Mackenzie an I looked confused at what he called sodas. "Soft drinks, who are you my grandpa?" Mackenzie said with a laugh bubbling out of lips. I laugh as well, I guess that's just what they call it in Australia.
"Don't judge that's just what we call it, I mean soda sounds kind of weird. It's just my accent" Charlie said crossing his arms. "Don't worry your accent is hot" I quickly cover my mouth shocked by what I had just said.
"So you think my accent is hot, ok then......I think your accent is sexy" I start turning a bright shade of pink, completely flustered. "We should g-go to the movies right guys?"
Mackenzie said trying to get closer to Charlie. Is she jealous? I'm to ugly there's no way he would like me, she is way prettier then me. He would fall for her not me.
We get our food, I asked Charlie to order for me because that's one of the things that come with SAD, he nods and orders a coke for me. We head towards the movie room. We're watching insidious chapter 3, I love horror movies which is something Charlie knows.
