The Great Hall commented on what they had just read, some sharing their theories with others.

What if Dumbledore was responsible? It was a question that was already beginning to echo in some people's heads, after all why else would he have suggested that the Potters hide in a hut under the Fidelius Charm instead of the safeguarded Potter Manor.

There were also murmurings about Miss Evans' current attitude and those shown in the chapter. Petunia tried to ignore them but she too was gnawing at the uncertainty and was beginning to get carried away with the disparaging remarks about herself.

"Aunt Tuney took such good care of me, I couldn't have wished for anyone better than her," Hadrian commented, silencing the murmurs about his maternal aunt.

He had finally left the comfort of Adhara's arms —being careful not to wake her up— and had returned to his original seat as he gave a reassuring smile to the younger version of his aunt.

Besides, Helio and Draco were due to arrive in a few moments and he didn't think the younger Malfoy would be too pleased to see him in that position with Adhara. Helio would probably curse him in his mind as he searched for a way to get him away from there.

It hadn't been long since Adha had lost the support on which she slept when she found another one. On the shoulder of Lord Gaunt, who was startled by the sudden contact. Glancing to the side, he found Adhara's face slightly frowning.

"Forgive her, the journey and preparations have sapped her energy," Deimos explained to Lord Gaunt as he drew Adhara's head to his shoulder.

"It is okay," he played it down, ignoring the discomfort in his heart as Adhara was pulled away from him and leaned against someone else's shoulder.

Or maybe it was because she had stopped frowning as soon as she was away from him?

Unexpectedly, the person who appeared next to Draco Malfoy was not his younger brother, but Lord Gaunt from the future.

Deimos couldn't help but laugh as he watched him frown in annoyance at the sight of his partner on someone else's shoulder, asleep. Unsurprisingly, he didn't hesitate to come over and hog Adhara once more as she glared at him.

"It hasn't even been twenty-four hours and you're already coming for her," Deimos commented to the man everyone recognised, for the younger version of him was among them.

"Thomas Marvolo Gaunt Slytherin, Lord of the Ancient and Noble Houses of Gaunt and Slytherin. You may address me as Lord Slytherin to avoid confusion," he introduced himself as he settled his partner, who was once again looking uncomfortable, into his arms. "And she is mine," he said in front of everyone.
