“Now, as I said before, we're going to take a break and... play a little game,” announced Adhara, rising from her seat as she broke the silence by looking at the headmaster who began to panic.

Which was no surprise after how she announced the break a few minutes ago. With everything that had been revealed over the past eight chapters, the suspicions and what was about to be read; there was no doubt that Albus Dumbledore had no chance of getting out of there alive.

“The children should stretch their legs and get some fresh air,” she suggested as he opened the doors to the Great Hall.

The children in the secluded area, students from first to third year and a few upper years, got up from their seats and left the Great Hall without another word from anyone.

“What if I want to play the game too?” questioned one of the few children who remained behind, tilting his head to one side as he watched her curiously.

“You can stay, but if you want to play you must be accompanied by an adult,” she replied seconds later before turning to everyone again with a big smile. “Ladies and gentlemen, I think it's time for the game of Karma to begin. No matter how much you hurt him, he won't die. Not even if you tear off his limbs and don't coagulate the wounds or if you decide to remove all his organs. No matter what you do or what methods you use, it will be impossible for him to die before the end of the reading. He doesn't deserve to be given that pleasure so soon. With that said it only remains to say... Have fun.”

Albus Dumbledore stopped feeling the invisible bindings on his body and felt magic flowing through his entire body again after Adhara finished her explanation. But before he could carry out his escape attempt, he ended up inside a cage. He touched the bars for a moment and soon recoiled from the electric current that flowed from the bars and settled throughout his body.

As he writhed he could hear the footsteps of someone approaching where he was, from the sound of heels clicking on the floor he could tell it was a woman. He opened his eyes trying to decipher who it was and as soon as he found out, he would rather not have done it.

Lady Lestrange was the person going in Albus Dumbledore's direction, people could see her holding her wand in her right hand. However, the view that the current prisoner had was somewhat different, he could see a dagger hidden in Lady Lestrange's left leg and he had no doubt that she would not hesitate to use it against him.

“Don't you think it's a bad idea to show this to the children?” Lord Gaunt questioned quietly, watching as the ten children who had been left behind came forward to see what Lady Lestrange would do.

“Their families or guardians have already corrupted them,” she replied simply, sitting back in her seat, “and from the way they wear their uniforms I gather they all have Muggle relatives or have been raised by one. It's best not to let them out of our sight by the time we finish reading, the other children will be left outside. There's no point in traumatizing them if we already have enough people to mobilize after the reading is over.”
