"If you're the lord, what does that make me? The lady?"
The war is over and all seems to be going minimally well until everything comes crashing back down for Adhara to the point where she would trade her existence to fix everything that had gone wr...

"I believe everyone has had enough fun for now, right?" Hadrian said, drawing the attention to him. "It's time to get back to the reading."
Lord Lestrange was quick to notice the slightly disappointed look on his younger brother's face as he returned to his place with everyone else. It was clearly not due to not being able to continue the fun, as he had been one of the first to join Lady Lestrange. So what was it that put his brother in such a despondent state?
"Who would like to read?"
"If I may."
"Of course, Lord Prince."
The book soon found its way into the hands of the man who, as he waited for the letters to finish displaying, stared at the headmaster's dying body. No one had helped him —except Molly Weasley who had tried— not even the teachers. They looked at him with pity, but not enough to intervene.
"Chapter nine: First week of school."
"S-Shouldn't we wait for the others to return?" Peter Pettigrew questioned doubtfully.
"There's no need. Those who have to come back will come back," replied Hadrian, motioning for Lord Prince to continue.
From the moment he left the dormitory Harry could hear whispers all around him, in the Common Room and in the corridors.
"Ignore them, they have nothing better to do," Lucien whispered to him, walking beside him, they had met as they came down the stairs.
He didn't seem to be bothered by the murmurs around him as well, he still had that beaming smile on his face as they walked towards the Great Hall with Ron.
"My first class is History of Magic with Slytherin, what's yours?"
"History of Magic as the first welcome class? That's unlucky."
"Not at all, heir Rosier. Luke loves history lessons, so he found it entertaining."
"At least until Professor Binns started repeating the same thing over and over again," Ronald added to the comment.
"We don't have the timetable yet."
"They'll give it to us at breakfast, but you're unlucky. My brothers say it's one of the most boring classes, the professor always talks about the same thing and you share it with Slytherin," Ron commented immediately, looking at him with pity, he didn't seem to remember that Luke and Adhara were siblings. Or the talk they gave him during the Sorting.
"Then it's a good thing I like history," he replied, ignoring everything else as he descended the stairs a little more quickly than before. "Harry, will you sit at your table? Egan and I are going to breakfast at the Slytherin table with Adha," he added, it was a clear invitation to him that didn't extend to Ron.
"Why?" the red-haired boy questioned blankly, each student was supposed to eat at their own table.
"There's no rule against it," he replied with a shrug. "Besides, I want to talk to someone who sits there as well," he added as they reached the doors of the Great Hall.
