Me and Hope are walking through the woods it is morning out now and we still haven't found the troll and it's been half a week

What's that? Hope asked and we walked over to a log that had purple stuff on it and I smelled it and I backed up a held my nose

Alright, I got the scent, it's not hard to trace, that stinks. I said

The scent led us to Mystic falls high school

Me and Hope went inside the high school and no one was in the halls

We then saw the purple blood on the ground and we followed it

Then it stopped in the janitor closet

Dissera Portus. Hope said and the door opened and the troll wasn't in there then she tried to look in more

Aren't you a little short for a janitor? It's nice to know I'm not the only one trying to hide out on the first day of school. A boy said

Oh, no, i-i wasn't hiding. I-i was, um, uh, I was looking for the principal's office. Hope said and I rolled my eyes

Well, you're in luck. I'm new, too, but I'm pretty sure that's him right behind you. The boy said and walked away

Hi. A guy said from behind us and we both turned around

I'm principal saltzman. Peter, what are you doing here, and who are you? Alaric asked Hope

I am standing in the corner of Alaric's office while he looks at Hope's paper

You have a blank slate, Miss Hope... Marshall. Parents Tom and Kathleen. No transcripts from your last school. Alaric said

I think they must have just gotten packed away or something. We move around a lot. Hope said

Mm-hmm. Well, if you are going to be here in mystic falls, you have to go to school. Both of you. Alaric said

Well, then I guess it's a good thing I'm here, right? Hope said

Then the school bell rang

Can we go now? Hope asked

I have to talk to Peter. Alaric said

I'll meet you later. I said and she left

What are you doing here, your mom has been looking for you for the last month. Alaric said

I didn't want her to find me. I said

You're real father was a killer, and you're turning into him. Alaric said

Screw you. I said and walked out the office

I went to find Hope while trying not to hurt anyone in the process

Then I found her walking out the girls bathroom with a girl

I walked over and put my hand on her lower back making her look at me

I have been looking for you. I said

Why? Hope asked then I noticed she had makeup and a different outfit on and her hair was more curly
