I came back to town last night

But right now I am walking into Alaric's office because we have a team meeting that no one told Hope about

I went to an empty chair and sat down listening to the plan

Dr. Saltzman, what the hell? Hope said while walking in

Well, this is awkward. Nobody told me that there was gonna be a super squad meeting this morning. Just like nobody told me about the barrier spell that was put up in the gym. Hope said

That's because this is an emergency session about how we're gonna deal with malivore. Alaric said

And how you fit into that plan. I finished for him

Then I'm all ear. Plan away. Hope said

Not my plan. Alaric said and looked at MG

Cleo's the key to all of this, our problem being that Landon-- Mali... Malivore... Malidon? MG asked

No one cares about the name, just tell her the plan. I said

Malivore has consumed her. Which means we have to assume that she's in the belly of the beast, in the pocket dimension inside of Mali... Whatever. MG said

Yeah, I've been there twice, so you can skip to the actual plan. Hope said

If we can find Cleo, she may be able to inspire us with a way to get her out. Mg said

And what about Landon? Hope asked

Took longer than I expected, but there it is. Lizzie said

Does someone else want to tell her, or should I? Lizzie asked

I will. I said and Hope looked at me

I'm going to try and say this in the nicest way possible, Cleo's the target because she would actually help us more than your ex boyfriend could. I said

He meant that in a nicer way. Alaric said

No I didn't I meant that the way I said it because Hope is stubborn she got that from her parents and she needs to be talked to a certain way to get it in her head. I said

Though we're obviously hoping she'll inspire a way to save Landon, too. Josie said

Okay, and how do we get inside malivore, besides him eating us? Hope asked

Malivore thinks that being inside of Landon's body is protecting him, but the way I see it, that's his greatest weakness, which Kaleb, Peter and I can exploit with our vampire strength. Mg said

Or I could do it by myself because I am a tribrid. I said

Hmm. The exhaust port on the Death star. Hope said

Exactly. Lizzie said and everyone looked at her

It's a good plan. Why didn't you guys tell me sooner? Hope asked

Because of the way you are when It comes to Landon. I said

Don't get us wrong you and Peter are our best weapons, no doubt but we get one shot at this, Hope. Kaleb said

What he's saying is that we can have you going off the rails and blowing everything up. I said

I wouldn't do that. Is that seriously what you guys think? Hope asked

Look Hope, we all know you, we've all been by your side for the past two years and most of the time you screwed something up because of Landon. I said

We know you Hope, it's why we put up a barrier spell in the first place. Josie said

We thought maybe you should sit this one out. Lizzie said

I'm totally on board. Cleo is our best chance to bring both her and Landon back-- I would never jeopardize that. I'm really sorry that you guys think that I would. Hope said

But I can help. I will help, so please, just let me. Hope said

I say we put it to a vote. Alaric said

Hope tried to make Lizzie siphon the barrier to do it her way when we all voted no or at least that is what Malivore thinks

But I sped in the gym and knocked her out with a syringe

I sped over and picked Hope up

I sped out and I took Hope to Alaric's office

Let's hope the plan works. I said

I walked into Hope's room and I saw her eating ice cream on a chair next to the window

Hey. I said

Hi. She said

Ice cream, I didn't think you had such a bad day. I said

I missed you. She said

I wasn't gone that long, but I missed you too. I said

You were almost gone for two months. Hope said

Well, Freya is a good teacher. I said

I got you a bowl of strawberry ice cream if you want it, I put a spell on it so it stays frozen. Hope said and held a bowl out the me

You thought of me. I said and I took the bowl

Of course I did. She said and I sat on the bed

She set the bowl of chocolate ice cream down

I'm sorry about what happened before you left. She said

It's fine. I said and she got up and moved over to me and she touched my face

No it's not, it was selfish of me to not think about the lives of your sister's. She said

Freya gave me a stearn talk about not threatening her niece. I said and Hope laughed

Then Hope took the bowl out of my hands and put it on a table

Well, she is right, you have been an asshole. She said and I put my hands on her waist as she stood in between my legs

Jealous me gets like that. I said and she smiled

You're cute when you get jealous. Hope said and she kissed me

I stood up and picked her up and she smiled and I took her over to her bed and laid her down

I love you. I said as I kissed her neck

I love you too. She said

I put my hands in her shirt and she laughed when I ran my fingers over her skin

Peter, stop. She laughed and I kept tickling her while kissing her neck

Stop. She said and I stopped and I looked in her eyes and I moved her hair behind her ear

I sat up and I took off my shirt and she kissed me

She pushed me on my back and she kissed my lips

I flipped us over and I bit her neck softly with my regular teeth and then I kept kissing her neck

She put her nails in my back and I felt her claws come out

When I looked back in her eyes both of our eyes glowed

She ran her fingers through my hair and she kissed me softly then pulled away

Then we kissed again and I started to pull her shirt off
