"Tinn... What really happened to my son?"
"I'm sorry, Ma... I really don't know. He just passed out when I was nearly in front of him... Luckily, I caught him in time," Tinn explained to Gun's mother. Tinn had brought Gun to their house, where he was currently unconscious and lying in his own bed.
"This son of mine... Actually, his mental health is not really good... My son is a cheerful kid and good at hiding his emotions, which is why you really can't guess what he is going through," Gun's mother said sadly.
"Ma krub... What do you mean his mental health is not really good?" Tinn asked.
"Since he joined the music club... he's been having nightmares once a month. On that day, I kept asking him about his dreams that made him sad and hurt... He said he can't remember. That's why his Por and I tried to seek help from the doctor, but the doctor said they don't know the cause of his mental struggles. Gun said he's okay, but I know he's not... When he can't handle his nightmares and wakes up, the result is he has a fever for a day or even a whole week," Gun's mother explained with deep sadness.
"Gun," Gun weakly called out.
"Son... You're awake," Gun's mother said, hurrying to Gun's side.
"Ma..."
"Gun, drink this water," Tinn said, offering a glass of water to Gun.
But Gun never reached for it; he just looked at Tinn's face for a long time.
"Gun?" Tinn called out, confused.
"Oh... Thank you, Tinn," Gun said as he reached for the water.
"By the way, Tinn... It's already late... Isn't your mother worried about you?" Gun asked, looking at Tinn.
"Uhmm... I was planning to go home when you woke up," Tinn replied.
"Then go home."
"But... are you really okay?"
"Don't worry about me, Tinn... Go home. My Ma is here, so it's okay," Gun said, smiling at Tinn.
"Then take care... I'll talk to you tomorrow... Ma krub... I'm going home krub," Tinn said.
"Okay... Be careful, Son," Gun's mother said, bidding farewell to Tinn.
After Tinn left, Gun's mother pinched Gun's cheeks.
"Ma krub~~~ Why are you pinching my cheeks?" Gun half-complained.
"Why did you rush Tinn to go home immediately? Did you see how worried he was about you?" Gun's mother scolded Gun.
"I'm sorry, Ma... but I'm not feeling well, so I didn't want him to worry more," Gun said, looking down.
"Okay... Okay, if that's your reason... Rest now, and we can talk tomorrow," Gun's mother said, touching Gun's head.
"Uhmm."
...
But Gun couldn't sleep that night; the man he saw in his dream, who looked like Tinn, kept repeating in his head. All his dreams became clear now, as he remembered everything about the two men, but he was still clueless about why he kept dreaming about them.
Gun couldn't figure out why those two people looked like him and Tinn. He wanted to know why they were always in his dreams. Gun murmured the names he remembered.
"Li Ming... Heart."
