"Li Ming?!" Saleng exclaimed, surprised to see Li Ming enter the "Moonlight Chicken" restaurant after a whole month. Saleng had only seen Li Ming today, but Li Ming just waved at him without speaking.

"P'Saleng, can I borrow your car?" Li Ming suddenly asked, shocking Saleng so much that the chicken he was cutting fell to the floor.

"Ohhh... Yes, yes... Here's the key," Saleng said, handing the keys to Li Ming.

"Thank you," Li Ming said before leaving.

...

Li Ming, who had just finished showering, heard a noise in his room. He opened the door and saw his uncle looking at something. Li Ming quickly clenched the ring on his finger, relieved that he always wore it every day, or else his uncle would have known what he was doing.

"What are you doing, Uncle?" Li Ming asked, catching Jim by surprise. Jim hurriedly snuffed out Li Ming's belongings.

"Nothing..."

"Nothing, Uncle? ... I saw you looking at my stuff... Did I tell you, Uncle... Don't ever touch my things," Li Ming said with an emphatic tone. When he saw his uncle become silent, he continued, "So you never listened to me... I told you many times... You already forgot." Li Ming slammed the door shut as he went downstairs, followed by his uncle.

"Li Ming... Ai'Li Ming... Can you talk to me?" Jim said as they reached the bottom of the stairs.

"Talk about?" Li Ming asked.

"Where have you been?" Jim asked.

"My friend," Li Ming answered.

"Why didn't you call me... I was so worried about you... If something happened to you-"

"I'm already an adult, uncle... I can take care of myself."

"I know you're an adult, but if someone keeps fooling you... Just like about that reincarnation." When Jim said this, Li Ming suddenly looked at Jim deeply.

"So that's it, uncle... So you know what I'm doing... Why can't you say it directly to me... You know and yet you still interfere... You know and still bother me... You know and still ask me this nonsense question-"

"Ai'Li Ming... I'm so worried about you... Reincarnation never existed... Do you know what kind of unrealistic thing you're believing... Do you know what he would feel if he saw you like this-"

"Don't include him here, uncle," Li Ming said, his voice getting louder than usual when he heard his uncle mention Heart.

"Even... I'm explaining it to you... You never understand." Li Ming, who wanted to leave, was stopped by his uncle, who held his arms.

"Ai'Li Ming."

"You never understand, Uncle... So if you ever stop me... I WILL REGRET THAT YOU BECAME MY UNCLE," Li Ming yelled in his uncle's face.

"STOP... Don't ever say that to me," Jim said, pointing his finger at Li Ming's face.

"Sorry," Li Ming said. Even though he had a short temper, he still respected his uncle. He had just become impatient with his uncle, which is why he said that.

"Do you ever feel, while you're still alive, that you keep wishing you were dead?" Li Ming, who had been silent for a while, suddenly said this to his uncle.

"That's what I feel, uncle... The greed that I want to see him again... Even if it's only a small chance... Even if it never existed... I'm still holding onto it," Li Ming said, looking into his uncle's eyes, which now held a bit of emotion.

The hand holding Li Ming's arms slowly let go, and Li Ming finally left. Jim, who still regretted being impatient with his nephew, suddenly heard the car starting. He hurriedly went outside and toward the car.

"Ai'Li Ming."

"What are you doing, uncle... Get out," Li Ming said angrily.

"How can I let you drive in your condition, huh?" Jim said, worried about letting Li Ming drive after their argument.

"Fine, Uncle... If you really want to know what I'm doing... Let's go to the auntie's house," Li Ming said as he drove the car.

"Li Ming, stop the car..." Jim said nervously as he saw Li Ming speeding up.

"Don't stop me, uncle," Li Ming said, driving even faster.

"LI MING!" Jim yelled at Li Ming.

"I said-Ahhhhh!"

Because Li Ming was still arguing with his uncle, he didn't see the warning sign indicating a slippery road. The car suddenly lost control and crashed into a tree.

...

Inside the hospital, the nurses and doctors were busy saving two new patients whose heartbeats were getting weaker.

"1... 2... 3... Clear... No heartbeat again... 1... 2... 3... Clear... No heartbeat again... 1... 2... 3... Clear..."

"Doc?"

"What's the patient's name?"

"Li Ming Loetphong Nueangna-uam, Doc."

"Li Ming Loetphong Nueangna-uam... January 1977, 9 pm... Time of death..."
