Izuku had changed into a black suit with a dark green tie before heading to the retirement party. As he enters the lobby of the building he finds Melissa and Uraraka now wearing some fancy dresses waiting for him. As soon as they spot him they walk up to him.
Uraraka: “you tuck your time reappearing”
Izuku: “yeah sorry something came up”
Melissa: “Really and what's that?”
Izuku: “well..i..uh”
Uraraka: “we can save this for later if we stay here talking about it we might end up being late”
Melissa just nods before walking a bit ahead of them, Izuku and Uraraka hooked arms as they begin to head into the reception hall. As they walk to the main hall Izuku starts whispering to Uraraka.
Izuku: “thank you”
Uraraka: “you can thank me by telling me why you hung up on me?”
Izuku: “it technically wasn't me”
Uraraka: “what do you mean?”
Izuku: “you know the Robert Vance guy”
Uraraka: “the computer guy yeah what about him”
Izuku: “he infected the new suit tuck over it he used the suit to try and drown me ”
Uraraka: “are you ok”
Izuku: “yeah bruce and uncle david got me out of their”
Uraraka: “who’s david”
Izuku: “david is my uncle and melissa’s dad he is also the guy who designed and made the suit and gadgets”
Uraraka: “really?”
The three of them walk into the reception hall seeing several people standing around talking among each other. Some were dressed in fancy clothes while others were wearing what look to be hero costumes. As the three of them made their way into the hall they were spotted by Izumi who quickly walked up to them.
Izumi: “hey glad you all could make it”
Melissa: “i wouldn’t have missed this for anything”
Before anyone else could say anything mina, jiro and momo walked up to
Mina: “hey!! Mind if we borrow the girls for a bit”
Izuku: “um yeah sure if they want to”
Uraraka: “i’ll see what they want and be back as quick as i can”
Izuku: “take you time i’ll still be here when you get back”
Uraraka gives him a quick kiss before getting ready to go off with the girls
Mina: “melissa Izumi you two coming or not”
Melissa: “sure i'll come i’ve been meaning to get to know you all better”
Momo: “what about you Izumi”
Izumi: “i’ll hang back i have something to talk to my brother about”
They girls walk off while Izumi stayed to talk with Izuku
Izuku: “allright what's up”
Izumi: “dad wants us and mam to go up on stage with him while he is doing his speech”
Izuku: “....what?...”
Izumi: “yeah he wants us all up there you know like a…..proper family”
