Observation

I like to observe everything I can
Watching my surroundings
The people around me
Memorizing things that most people
Don't even see
The way people walk
The patterns of footsteps
The way people speak, the slights in their voice
Their rhythm
I memorize the way people's eyes move over things they like, or don't like
I memorize the way people smile
I obsess over every detail
If anything is out of place in a room
I will not enter it
If someone acts slightly off
I will walk away
I don't trust easily
Of course, who does
I have to be observant
I can't let my guard down for someone dangerous
I like to know everything I can about a person before I tell them anything important
I study them
Their actions, I even have them lie to me so I can know
I'm also naturally curious
I enjoy learning about people
I can place it in my study of human behavior
I watch body language and verbal rhythms to learn what people like and when they're lying
And why they're lying
I'm a very observant soul, I can figure people's crushes
I can figure out so much, with very few words and a trained eye
Secrets you think are buried deep, locked away
They're open to the surface
When I observe my environment
I'm watching the placement of certain trees
I'm taking audible notes, how the road I'm on sounds, someone's voice
I'm taking scent based notes, I'm memorizing how different things smell
I'm taking contact based notes, what I'm most commonly touching, how the ground feels
I'm taking taste based notes if I'm ever eating
I'm noting everything I can, as many of my senses as I can
I note how different hands feel when I shake them
I note everything about a person's face I see
I note the first and last name
Favorite colors
I pay attention to everything, as it may be vital
Vital to solving a mystery, of who said what
Even when I'm not looking
When people change their voice, it's still a unique thing
They still speak with a rythmn most aren't aware of
They still project their voice with the same factors
They still have all these little details, like a fingerprint
Facial expressions, I can watch for minor infractions of muscles most people
Most people don't even notice they're moving
The same practice most 'psychics' use
Reactions to classic prompt questions
I need to stay vigilant and observant
I didn't do all this practice for nothing after all
I'm much more observant than most catch on to
