I woke up startled when I heard the birds chirping, so I immediately sat up. That was when I noticed that the glass window in the Male Lead's room was wide open.

I could clearly see them enjoying themselves as they flew around as if they had no problems. The aircon was off, so fresh air brushed against my skin.
I hadn't finished feeling the fresh air and the sound of the birds chirping when the bathroom door suddenly opened, and the Male Lead stepped out wearing a white towel to cover what needed to be covered.
I looked at him while my whole body was sprawled on the bed, acting as if the unbuttoned shirt I was wearing wasn't a problem — I had no bra and panties on, only boxers.
"Let's talk" I said gently to the Male Lead, who was looking at my whole body now.

I watched his every move. He remained silent and didn't answer what I said, so I slowly sat up and slowly crawled off the bed towards him. I hugged him from the back affectionately, just like a married couple would.

He was about to answer when someone suddenly knocked on the door, which ruined my morning. Damn it!
"Boss, everything is ready. We are just waiting for you." The Male Lead didn't speak, and his Consigliere left immediately.
I frowned as I let go of the Male Lead before rolling my eyes.
"Nevermind." I will just find the answer myself. I will face the matriarchs who are meddling with my life.
I walked toward the bed because my heels were at the edge. I put them on and buttoned up the unbuttoned parts of the long-sleeve shirt I was wearing.
