I was about to step down from the stage when the crowd suddenly started making noise again.

"Oh my god, Lady Atenea sings so well!"

"Her voice is beautiful!"

"Lady Atenea, you don't need to apologize at all — your voice is absolutely beautiful!"

"She's so perfect!"

"I keep wondering if the rumors about her being ill-tempered are actually true."

"Maybe she doesn't really have a bad attitude. She looks so kind and gentle."

"Come on, girls... We don't know the real truth. Lady Atenea is just really distant and keeps to herself."

"But maybe everything we heard about her is wrong. She doesn't seem bad at all, you know?"

"I agree! She's so kind and has such an angelic face."

"And such an angelic smile."

I wanted to laugh at what these nobles were saying. Geez! They are so easy to fool. No wonder they believed everything those two siblings said right away. Aiya! But face it, Lunar, you really are bad. Stop daydreaming.

As I finally stepped down, I suddenly stopped because someone blocked my path. I looked up and saw none other than those two headache‑inducing male leads.

"Livinghell... We never knew you had such a beautiful voice" Rune said with a bright smile, his eyes practically sparkling.

"For real. We never imagined we'd ever see you perform, since you always keep your distance from everyone" Klyne added, grinning from ear to ear.

I returned to my usual nonchalant expression and answered them "It's only because it's the twins birthday. I agree to sing just this once as a favor."

"Well... Why don't you try becoming a singer? You'd defined earn a lot, and you'd become even more famous because of how talented you are." Rune suggested, and his cousin immediately nodded in agreement. I just shook my head at their idea.

"Besides, your voice is unique–deep, calm, and soothing. It's very hard to replicate—" I cut Klyne off. These two really always feed off each other and go on and on whenever they start talking.

"Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm not interested. Excuse me, my husband is waiting for me at our seats." That was the last thing I said before turning my back on them. Ignoring the admiring gazes and whispers from the guests around me, I walked straight toward my handsome, delicious‑looking husband... who was now looking at me with a dark, sharp look in his eyes.

Aiya! What did I even do wrong this time?

When I reached our seat, I sat down next to him—I had no idea why he was looking at me with such a cold, harsh gaze.

"Problem?" I asked, raising one eyebrow.

"Why were you talking to them?" He asked in a flat, icy tone.

"Because they were talking to me?" I replied sarcastically — wasn't it obvious why?

His mood grew even darker at my smart remark. He said nothing more and went back to being quiet, his earlier intense stare gone as he shifted his focus to the two male leads, who now couldn't even look me in the eye.
