I sat quietly thinking inside the coffee shop Fhiana and I had passed earlier. My mind wandered to Livinghell's father and her two witch sisters.

From what I read on social media, Lysandra had posted something, and it made the incident at their birthday party spread even further.

Even though the twins were clearly in the wrong, people still took their side and defended them, just like the followers of Livinghell's sisters, Aurelia and Aurora. That was always how things went online, foolish people would stand by them no matter what, insisting their idols were innocent even when they were not.

Opinions were split, but Livinghell had far more supporters who stood firmly behind her. Even when those two witch sisters tried to ruin her name, her fans stayed loyal. In fact, they were always the first to defend her whenever Aurelia and Aurora started spreading lies again, which only made those two witches angrier.

I wondered what exactly became of them. I looked toward Fhiana as she reached our table and set down our orders.

"Fhiana... what happened to those two witches after all the trouble at Corvus twin's birthday?" I asked as soon as she sat down.

"Milady... I forgot to tell you... they were punished for bringing such shame upon everyone." She replied. "Your step-mother tried to protect them, but she could find no excuse to cover for her daughters... especially since Lady Lysandra posted the truth for everyone to see."

I sipped my coffee and listened carefully. "What kind of punishment did they receive?"

"Your grandfather called your father personally, he decided everything." She said. "Your father could not argue, he knew very well how shameful their actions were."

I set my cup down and sat straighter, smirking. "Really? Oh... my grandfather truly, truly loves me."

"So... exactly what was the punishment?" I asked again, still smirking.

"They are banned from attending any events for a whole year. He took away all their jewelry and had it burned. Their money and allowance are strictly limited. They cannot travel abroad or enjoy themselves with friends anywhere for twelve months... and lastly... they are grounded inside the mansion for one month."

I almost laughed out loud hearing it. It really seemed as though everything always falls in Livinghell's favor, especially when her grandparents are the ones moving things behind the scenes.

"They deserve every bit of it." I said quickly as I stood up and grabbed my bag and coffee.

"Let's go, Fhiana... I'm already eager to see their miserable faces." I said and walked out — with her following close behind.

After a short drive back to Livinghell's father's mansion, I walked inside with my head held high and every move graceful. All the servants scheduled for cleaning stopped what they were doing and turned their eyes toward me. Once they recovered from their surprise, they bowed low in respect.

My face remained calm and expressionless as I made my way toward the grand staircase — until a voice rang out from the living room and brought me to a halt.

"Oh... look who's here... a bitch." I turned slowly, a faint smirk playing on my lips, and looked at her with nothing but pity.

"Oh... and look who stand right before me... a witch." I shot back. If her tongue was sharp, mine was far sharper — whatever sting she gave, I could deliver twice as well.
