Cross and Nightmare were both asleep in their room (duh).
But Cross stirred at the sound of the door opening slightly, he hummed and sat up tiredly.
The sudden change in movement also caused Nightmare to wake up.
Cross didn't pay much attention to his husband and more towards who was at the door.
He blinked at who it was.
"Moonlight? Whats wrong?"
Cross asked and got up and walked towards his second oldest, kneeling infront of him.
The small child had tears in his eyes.
He sniffed and hugged his mother.
"I..couldn't sleep.."
Cross lightly pet moonlights head.
"Could I sleep with you and Papa..?"
Moon asked, sniffing again.
"Sure, sweetpea."
Cross picked him up and walked back towards the bed, seeing Nightmare looking at them.
"Is he alright?"
The Dark lord asked.
Cross laid back down on the bed with Moonlight in his arms, Moonlight seemed to already be sleeping. He was always a Mommy's boy.
"He's okay, nothing serious."
Cross responded, kissing his sons head, feeling a tendril lightly around both of them.
"Alright, if you say so."

Nightmare was walking towards his officer when he heard footsteps approach him, he turned around and felt a small child hug his leg.
It was Noah, the youngest of his 3 sons.
"Noah"
He greeted, patting the little boys head.
"Papa! Have you seen Incubux and Moonlight?"
Noah asked enthusiastically. Almost bouncing as he still hugged The tallers leg. He was so small-
"No, I haven't seen your brothers, why?"
He asked, raising a brow.
"We're playing Hide n' seek! And it's not fair Incubux can teleport through the darkness, it's cheating!"
Noah whined. Pressing his head onto Nights leg.
Nightmare chuckled.
"Good luck buddy, but I need to get to work now."
He said. Patting his son's head again, and the smaller ran off somewhere, presumably to find his older brothers.
Nightmare walked into his office upon arriving, closing the door, he felt 2 presence in the room.
He sighed as he knew who it was and where they were.
He walked up to the back of his desk and moved his chair aside to look inside. And there they were, Incubux and Moonlight hiding in the tiny space.
Moonlight jumped at seeing his father, Incubux, who was reading a book, looked up startled as well.
"Out of all the places to hide.."
Nightmare said.
He grabbed them both with his tendrils and pulled them out, placing them gently on the couch on the other side of the room.
"Sorry Dad."
Incubux replied, and placed the book back on the shelf where it belonged.
"It's alright, I'm not mad."
Nightmare said, leaning against his desk.
"Y'know you both can-"
Night stopped talking as the door opened quickly. Everyone looked over at it.
"A'hah! I knew you both were in here!!" Exclaimed Noah, pointing at both his siblings.
