Nightmare sighed at the display infront of him.
Cross was sick again, and it only worsened when he decided to ignore it. It wasn't the first time either.
"Cross. How many times do I have to tell you to tell me when you've fallen ill!"
Cross pulled the covers over his head, startled by Nightmares yelling.
The other realized and huffed.
Walking over to him and gently pulling the cover down. Cross merely held his head down.
"Cross."
The smaller hummed in reply.
The Lord sighed once again and kissed the side of this skull.
"I'll go get you some medicine. You need it."
He got up to leave, but Cross held his arm, almost whining.
"Don't leave.."
"I'll be quick, I also don't need you getting worse."
Cross glared at him and huffed, Nightmare simply rolled his eye and left the room.
'An angry but clingy idiot, how fitting'
Despite that, he wasn't entirely mad at the other. He knew that Cross just didn't want to be useless to him.
He continued walking down the direction of the kitchen, it wasnt often he made meals as that's why he had servants for, but this was his husband.
So he shooed everyone out and started to prepare his warm meal.

Cross was cuddled under the blankets, opening his eye-sockets once he heard the door to the bedroom open.
Nightmare had walked in, holding a tray. Walking over to him, using a tendril to him sit up.
Cross took the warm bowl into his hands, it smelled delicious.
Immediately taking a bite.
Twenty minutes later, the smaller had finished his meal, thanking Nightmare.
The Lord hummed and handed him a spoon full of medicine.
Cross didn't want to take it, but the glare from Nightmare made him take it.
He was grossed out by the taste. His nasal scrunched.
Nightmare chuckled and shook his head, giving Cross his chocolate milk- in which Cross drowned it down his throat immediately.
Night took a seat next to him, feeling Cross leaning against him.
"You should really break this habit, Cross."
"I know..."
Cross held his head down. Nightmare merely kissed his head again.
"Get some rest, you need it."
And that's what Cross did, placing himself comfortably on his husband's chest before closing his eyes.
Nightmare didn't mind, rubbing his back soothingly
"I love you.."
"I love you too, button."
