Here Cross was, in a Carriage with his Father, they were riding to the Kingdom of Kew for a peace treaty.
Why Cross was even needed there was beyond him, His father, X, Didn't give him much explanation.
Time passed as they finally arrived at the Kingdom and were able to finally leave the carriage and they were both lead to a specific room in the Castle by one of the guardsmen.
Of course as protection both Cross and X had they're very own guards following.
"Father" Cross said as they continuedwalking, getting his father's attention.
"Yes Cross?"
"What exactly is my business for being here, if it's a peace treaty why am I to be involved? Your the King not me." The smaller asked
All he got as a response was a "You'll see Child, be patient".
They said nothing else as they made it to the conference room, the guards opened the door And there inside were four more guards and Both the King and Queen of Kew...and the eldest Prince.
Now Cross was more confused.
"Ah, you finally arrived, welcome to Kew your Majesties"
Said The King, welcoming them both
"Thank you, your Majesty". X replied
Cross stayed silent, being nervous as he felt all eyes then on him.
"So this is the Eldest Prince of Andromeda?, he looks like a lovely boy" said the Queen.
"Y-Yes, Hello Your Majesties"
Cross said formally, bowing in respect to both the superiors.
The other Prince said Nothing as if inspecting him.
The King cleared his throat catching everyone's attention.
"Nightmare" he said.
"Yes Father.." said the Prince of Kew, 'Nightmare, so that's his name?'
Cross thought.
"Would you accompany Cross and Show him around the palace, and lead him to the room he'll be staying at, in the meantime, we will discuss the treaty".
"Yes Father"

So now Cross was walking with 'Nightmare' in silence, still confused, why would his Dad bring him along only to have him out of whatever type of agreement treaty they're working on, it all annoyed him.
Nightmare on the other hand was slightly uneasy, this was all too much to process, damn did his parents hate him this much.
He just sighed. It got Cross' Attention.
He looked at him slightly before looking forward
"What's your name..?" Nightmare asked, figuring it was best to atleast make small talk. Not like he wanted to..
"Cross..yours is N-Nightmare correct?" Cross stuttered a bit.
"Yes.."
Cross thought for a bit before finally deciding to ask, "Hey...your highness".
"Just call me Nightmare"
"Nightmare..do you know what they're actually doing in there, the conference room that is-"
Nightmare raised a brow.
"Your father brought you here, didn't he tell you...?" Nightmare asked confused as they stopped walking.
"I can assure you my father told me nothing other then it being a 'peace treaty'". Cross responded looking at the taller, that one cyan eye.
