A kiss. That's all it took for the crowd to jump up and cheer
Now the couple were officially married, they pulled away from the Kiss and payed no attention to anyone in the room other then eachother
Nightmare leaned closer to whisper.
"I don't regret this for a second"
They both smiled, "I don't either, Night"
"Excuse me, your Majesties"
They snapped out of their little bubble and looked towards the owner of the Voice.
It was a servant. "Please let us escort you both to the east wing"
Ah, right, Cross forgot that's where the rest of the party will be held.

"Brother, this is amazing! How do you feel!!"
Dream asked Nightmare, who was alone at the moment, seeing as Cross was pulled aside to talk to his Father.
"I can't believe this is even real.. I feel dazed"
Nightmare said, giving a slight smile
"Aw c'mon, surely you're happy, right?"
Nightmare sighed
"I am, I'm over the moon right now.."
Nightmare turned his head slightly, starting to blush.
"Im so happy for you guys!!" Dream was acting like a little girl at this point. Nightmare huffed

Meanwhile...
Cross was having a conversation with his Father, X
"I will be leaving soon, after the Coronation you will have your duties to fulfill here, and we expect you to complete them."
"Yes, I'm aware."
X looked at Cross, seeming to scan him for a second before saying.
"I can see you both look to be.. fond of each other already, that sparks good news. "
Cross tilted his.
"I-I suppose"
"Good, I guess now I should tell you that the King and Queen expect an heir.."
Cross flinched
"Excuse me.."
"You heard me Cross, an Heir is what they need as you both will take over after them, I guess.. I will be expecting word from here to Andromeda if that happens."
Cross stayed quiet.
"I dont expect an heir soon, just that you must make it happen, sooner or later, I don't care, just be careful of your In-laws,"
Cross dipped his head "Yes father.."
And soon they finished and returned to the party
Cross by Nightmares side soon after-that.
He wasn't surprised as this was to be expected.
But the party carried on like nothing, they danced and drank, even the King and Queen of Kew were congratulating them, though Night seemed to have ignored them the whole time.
Besides, both Cross and Nightmare seem to be having the time of their life. But as the hours passed and the moon was high in the sky, the couple left the party unseen.
They were walking around the palace, the hallways seem much darker now that it was late at night
"Was today to your liking?"
"Well, I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy myself at all," Cross said, chuckling.
Nightmare couldn't help but smile. He wanted the smaller happy, he'd never made anyone happy before - not even his parent(s) were proud of him for even his biggest accomplishments.
