"Come in"
Cross walked into Nightmares study holding a cup of Coffee for Night, as he walked towards his desk "Hey, I brought you some coffee since I thought you'd be working late"
Nightmare looked up at His partner as Cross put the coffee on his desk
Night gently graced a tendril under Cross' jaw, a small 'thank you'
"Yes...Sorry Button, seems I won't meet you outside until another 2 hours"
Cross didn't mind that, he simply smiled "That's alright orrrr" he dragged on as he walked closer to Nightmare and so boldly sat on his lap, "I could sit here with you for awhile"
Night didn't seem to mind, as this has become a norm for both of them, Cross would come an keep him company from time to time, it helped Night whenever he was frustrated, he'd simply hold the oreo tighter to which Cross never objected to
Night kissed Cross on the cheek and nuzzled into his neck "mhm, yea that'd be nice". Cross smiled at the response, it had been 3 months since that confrontation in the throne room, and things surely got better from there
Sometimes Nightmare went and done things Cross hadnt expected, one time Cross woke up to find a bouquet of roses on the bed next to him, other times Cross would be in the living room talking to one of his teammates and Night would come in and 'kidnap' Cross and take him away to either his office or the library and simply keep him close
Cross always found it amusing, a personal favorite was when Nightmare was angry, Cross had been walking around the castles Garden when Nightmare called on him, upon entering the throne room, Night was there staring plainly at his Throne, Cross could tell he was angry, but as soon as he was in the room Nightmare had grabbed him with his tendril and held him tightly as he explained his reason- The trio of idiots thought it wise to fight inside the castle- and Cross didn't mind.

It's been a few hours, the couple were still cuddled up to eachother
Admittedly it felt nice being so close, Nightmare looked down at his lover who had been holding on of his tendrils in his hands, he kissed his cheek, it was quick and sweet, which had Cross squeak at the action
"Night?"
Nightmare just held his lover more putting his pen down and stood up with Cross in his arms, bridal style
"Night!?" Cross wrapped his arms around Nightmares neck alittle startled, his lover chuckling before teleporting them to they're shared room, placing Cross on the bed as he placed himself over him.
"Nightmare...?" Cross sounded so sweet, he put his hands on Nights shoulder as his lover placed himself over him, "Cross...you look so sweet under me". Night chuckled as Cross blushed a deep purple at the comment.
"S-Shut up" Cross turned his head to the side to avoid eye contact, not realizing he gave Nightmare room to plant soft kisses on his neck, he whined as he felt Night continue his affections "Nightmare" upon his name being called his stop and raised his head to look at his lover under him
Cross cupped his face and kissed him, not caring about anything else at the moment, Nightmare took ahold of one of his small lovers hand and kept it pressed into the bed beneath them as they continued the kiss
"I love you Night" kiss "I love you so much", Cross feels like he'll melt into the sheets with all the affection he's been giving "I love you Button"
Nightmare had a thought and decided to tease the smaller. He nuzzled Cross' neck once more before speaking "if I married you right now, would you wear a nice dress for me~"
Cross went quiet, blushing like mad..
"Wha-! N-Night!No I-I-"
Cross was at lost for words at the suggestion, Night wanted to Marry him? And a dress?!, the poor oreo couldn't believe what he heard
"Aw why not, I think you'd look adorable". He teased further, nuzzling into his partners neck
"Nooo!! Nightmareeee!!" Cross weakly tried to push Nightmare off of him, "Night i-Pff- I swear!" but both knew he didn't hate the affection, evident by the smile still on his face

After both calmed down from they're little play fight, they touched foreheads, content and smiling
"One day sweetheart"
