Chapter Six

Hyunjin's pov
"sit with us from now on" seungmin said jumping in the couch it is finally the weekend...i am waiting for my father to call me...we are planning on going out for lunch together then I am going home with him.
"where?" I asked the younger boy confused.
"at lunch...don't sit with park seonghwa and his gang...we are your friends...sit with us" he replied with huge smile.
"seungmin, sorry if this may hurt you but we only knew each other for a less than a week and I have no idea how in a short time I experienced all these things."I said taking a deep breath" jisung already hates me...jeongin start ignoring me...changbin hyung...i don't know about him...like sometimes he is smiley and welcoming and the other he is silent and distant...you are the only one who is treating me normally...honestly I don't blame the other...we don't know each other after all...but for god's sake tell them to choose something..."I added.

"sorry..."
"like seriously why han is acting defensive whenever I got close to Felix but we are alone he acts like I don't exists...i really had enough with this...i am a nice person but not a patient one..." I cut him off making the boy look at his lap" on the top of all of that Felix is trying to take me out in a date..."
"he what?" seungmin yelled looking at me with wide eyes.
"a date seungmin...and I refused...because of you" I answered
"me..."
"no...all of you...you told me that he is a playboy...well changbin hyung did" he said making him nod" I got my fair share of those boys...my past boyfriend made sure of that" I added.
"you had a boyfriend?" he asked...does he think I have been single my whole life or what?
"I did" I hummed.
"what happened to him..."

"let's not talk about that" I cut the shorter male standing up.
"where are you going?" he asked standing after me.
I glared at him without realizing until he apologized.
"don't apologize...i am sorry...let's just keep our distance from now on...it is for the best" I said, his expression changed into shock.
"but..." he stopped mid-sentence nodding his head.
"it is for the best" he continued not looking at me.

I took a deep breath before I walked toward the bag I already prepare heading outside...it is better if I wait for my father in front of the dorms.
I have never experienced something like this before...you know...i fell this weird sensation whenever I am next to any of the five boys which scare the hell out of me....
My phone start ringing as I stepped outside...i knew it is my dad since I saw the police car parked in the other side of the road.
A huge smile come on my face...i really miss him...so damn much....he was busy with the murders the past days so we didn't get time to meet up.
"detective" I said entering the car.
"son" he said pulling me into a hug" how have you been" he added.

"I am fine...you.?" I said making him pull back.
"busy with the case so...let's say not that good" he said making me frown.
"just make sure you are eating and sleeping enough" I said making him sighed.
"since you left yuna didn't stop visiting me making sure I do both" she answered making me smile evilly.
"what did she do to make you sleep..."
"hyunjin I swear" he cut me off pulling my ears.
"okay...okay sorry" he said begging him
"sometimes I regret talking about these things with you"he said starting the car.
"you didn't talk about them before...you have been single since forever" I teased him making me groan.

I love my relationship with my father...we are so close and comfortable with each other.
My father parked in front of the restaurant as the both of us enetrred inside.
"so what do you want?" he asked as we took a sear.
"hmm, lasagne " I replied with eyes filled with hearts making hum chuckle.
"of course " he said shaking his head
We finished ordering as we waited for our food to come.
"so...what is new?how is your roommate," he said leaning on the table.
"oh, I forget to tell you...i have three" I said making him frown.

"really?" he said.
"yeah and they are dating..."
"the three of them..." he said with wide eyes.
"actually four...they have another one...he is a year older than me" I replied.
"wow...how did they manage to make it work? I didn't even manage to keep your mom" he asked.
"I have no idea...they seem perfectly fine together...and dad....my mom,leaving  was not your fault...it was her choice" I said shaking my head.
"are they nice?" he said as the waiter brought us food.
"I guess..."
" give me their names" he cut me off.
"dad..."
"I need to investigate them...i need to make sure that they are good people" he cut me off again.
"I am a grown up man father" he said with a big sighed but he seemed persistent.

"fine... The oldest boyfriend is seo changbin the youngest yang jeongin, we have Kim seungmin...and han jisung" his whole expression changed after I said the last name...
"han..." he said with a raised eyebrow.
"do you know him?" I asked thinking at he may have been arrested before...well I won't be surprise.
"is he the son of han seokjin?" he said.
"I don't know...you know his father..."
" they are super rich...you know the forests near the university it belongs to them...the bodies were found close by their land...so I went there for investigation... they seem weird..." he said taking a deep breath " my gut tells me that they know something..yet they are refusing to talk" he added.

"just be careful" I said as I start eating.
"always...you too..." he answered." so any boy or girl you are interested in" he added out of nowhere making me chock on my lasagne...he smiled evilly at me this time making me roll my eyes.
"no" I said drinking some water.
"you can't fool a detective's eyes...talk" he said pointing his finger at me...of course I can't it is like he is a lie-detecting machine I swear I couldn't hide anything from him my whole life.
"fine...there is a boy who wants to take me into a date" he said making him smile.
"what did you say..."
"I refused" I said wiping my mouth.
"why?" my father asked as he leaned into his chair.
"he reminds me of kangsoo...rich arrogant and full of himself" I answered the man who sighed."plus he is the headmaster's son" I added.

"lee Felix" he said with wide eyes...why the hell does he know about them?
"let me guess...you met him during the investigation too" he said making him nod...
"the forest is shared between the hans and the lees...you can say the bodies were found in the middle"he said....wow I didn't know that they could be related like this...is this why they hate each other? Some rich boys hatred or something...it is childish...
"Mr hwang...hyunjin...good to see you " I jumped on my sear hearing the deep familiar voice...it can't be...what the hell is he doing here?
"Felix" I gasped looking at the boy.
"what a pleasant surprise..."
"are you following me?" I asked glaring at him.

"ouch...that's too much...i am here with couple of my friends" he said looking back to a group of people I recognize from school...he hangs out with then the time....good this is embarrassing...
" so detective...any luck with the murders" Felix added looking at my dad changing the topic completely...good.
"nothing new" my father replied scanning him.
"I hope you find the killer...i am here if you want to ask any questions....ihave a great day" he said smiling before he walked away not sparing me a glance.
"accusing him of stalking was too much" my dad said making me hum as I stared at Felix ordering his food.
"I know" I said biting my lips.

"he was happy when he saw you...you know hyunjin not everyone are like kangsoo...if you don't like Felix then tell him that...but if you are avoiding him because of your old boyfriend then don't" he said squeezing my hand" don't be afraid of following your heart" he added.
"I think we the hwang men are cursed concerning love" I said chuckling sadly
"you will find it when the right time comes...believe me everyone will find his soulmate someday" he replied.
"soulmate...i don't believe in that" he said laughing.
"as you wish...when the time comes you will say my father was right" he said rolling his eyes.
"sure thing Mr hwang" I answered the man " I think I should apologize to Felix" I added.

"you do" he said checking his phone"I am going to take you home have some work to take care of then I will come back to have dinner togther"he added.
"okay" I replied getting up...what I said to Felix was embarrassing...i am just so overwhelmed with everything...what's wrong with me.....
