Chapter Twenty-six

Felix's pov
I took a deep breath scanning the place...i am standing at the same spot han jisung killed Mr hwang in years ago...i had never returned here before I didn't think that it will be useful...it was as clear as the sun that jisung killed Hyunjin's father but now when there is a chance that he didn't I need to look more into this....did I miss something? This place is and was always filled with supernatural energy I can feel it radiating from everywhere...even when I came last time it was here but It was hard trying to sense each and very one of it especially with the huge number of wolves that we're present...their energy clouded the other.
"what happened here?" I asked myself...i froze when I sensed a strange energy....it was barely noticeable...it belongs to a witch...don't tell me.

"I swear I am going to kill those damn peasants this time....all of them" I growled...are they trying to make jaiung and I go against each other? I mean a war between the vampires and werewolves could benefit them...there is no way they had found out about who hyunjin is...and I am keeping Annabel locked away inside my castle she wouldn't be able to tell them.
My guess now is that a witch put a damn spell on han jisung to make him think that I was the one who was with hyunjin and of course he will blame after...i clenched my jaw in anger...i feel so stupid....all these years they were playing with us...what are they after?
I immediately teleported back to the castle heading directly to Annabel.
"you are going to tell me what you and your little witches are planning or I am going to kill you" I yelled at the old woman making her jump.

"what do you mean?" she asked.
"Annabel you know very well that could use my powers to read your head...and it won't be a pleasant experience for you...and considering you age you will meet with your dear queen so tell me...why are trying to make war between vampires and wolves...we already hate each other" I growled.
"what are you talking about...."
"anna"I yelled making her flinch." you are killing your own kind and using black magic to gain powers....for what?" I added making her mouth fell open.
"I...how....i swear I have no idea about what are you talking about...i..."she said looking down.
"you what?" I asked grabbing her by her neck to make her face me" you know something"I added.
"couple of witches had left the coven they said that they don't want to live in fear of other supernatural...maybe they are behind that" she said making me frown.

"what? I need their names now" I said. The woman looked at me with wide eyes"I don't know" she answered.
"are you playing..."
"no Felix...i...i don't remember" she cut me off looking at me with wide eyes...what is happening? Something is wrong....i feel a weird presence around me...i looked around but no one is here expect us.
"how is he alive?" she asked me.
"I guess I am not as cruel as everyone thinks I am" I replied glancing around...i can feel it...what Is it?
"maybe it was fated...maybe things will get better for all of us..." suddenly the woman stopped mid sentence as blood started to fall for her nose" fix this your highness" she added as a loud scream filled the place before she fell down lifeless and at that moment the presence disappeared...what the hell just happened?

I immediately left the room " take care of her" I told the guards who looked confused at what I said before I left.
These witches are going to make me lose my mind I swear.
"seonghwa"I yelled for the vampire who immediately come to me.
"yes your highness" he replied.
"I want you to increase the security around each property I owe and especially this castle...and don't you ever let anyone inside without asking me...i know you are the one who us letting han jisung in " I said rubbing my forehead.
"I....i apologize...."
"not important that boy is the least of my worries right now do as I said" I cut him off walking down the hall.
"if I may ask what happened?" he said following my steps.
"the witches happened who else...i think they have something to do with Mr hwang's death"I replied.

"your highness I saw hyunjin leave with han jisung...is he going to be okay?i will go and get him if you want" he asked making me stop and face him.i swallowed hard as the boy waited for my answer...hyunjin left with his own will...
"no, I have something to take care of then I will go and get him" I answered...something inside me tells me that he is safe there...which is completely opposite of what I told him before he left...this is madness.
The man bowed before he walked away.
'where are you?' I asked the woman through the mind link.
' king lee....is everything okay?' she answered sounding surprise...i did not talk with her for more than three years now.
'come to the castle now...make sure no one sees you' I said heading to my meeting room...
