Warriors (fanmade) Super Edition: Ravenstar's Wish

Chapter 9

Ravenwing and Winterstone had sit their vigil that night, and had slept before waking up. Their new den was way more crowded, having a lot more cats in it. The nests were fresh from Flamepaw cleaning them, as his punishment of attacking Winterstone.

Now, Ravenwing was on a hunting patrol with Voleclaw, Ottercloud, Hornetclaw and Grasshopperflight. They were walking to tallpines to hunt, since the other patrol was bordering sunningrocks.

"Okay, now that we're here, let's all split up to hunt," Voleclaw mewed. It was obvious Voleclaw was going to not catch anything, and probably claim someone else prey, most likely Ravenwings.

Voleclaw never did anything. She makes her apprentices teach themselves, she claims others prey as her own, and she never fights in a battle. Usually she stayed away from it or ran.

But Ravenwing had an idea. If he could cause a battle, and get Voleclaw killed, maybe they'd have a better deputy. He'd have to do it soon before things get worse. Was it the best idea, to break the code like that, though? Foxstar would kill him if he found out, that's for sure.

Ravenwing pushed back the thought. He needed to focus on hunting, and think about Voleclaw later.

Ravenwing had caught a sparrow, vole and a squirrel. Hornetclaw had caught 3 mice, Grasshopperflight caught a blackbird, Ottercloud caught 2 rabbits, while Voleclaw had a scrawny rabbit. Grasshopperflight probably caught that for her. Thought Ravenwing.

As they returned to camp, Spiderfang guarding the enterence, they dropped their fresh-kill in the pile and walked away. Ravenwing saw Winterstone talking to Flamepaw, Flamepaw trying to be threatening. Ravenwing walked over to listen, and probably break up the fight.

"Just because your a warrior doesn't mean dung!" Snarled Flamepaw. He seemed angry, and ready to fight. "I would make a better warrior then you!"

"Listen here, runt, I'm not dealing with your mouse brain today." Growling, Winterstone continued. "You've done quite enough. Want Foxstar to do what he did to you again? I can, and have the rights to, kill you right here right now." She unsheathed her claws and flexed them.

"I've done enough? You and Ravenwing's existence has ruined my life! I was a happy kit, living peacefully, until I met you!"

Ravenwing padded over to Foxstar once again, forgetting about them.

"They're at it again, Foxstar. This time it seems more serious." Ravenwing quickly mewed.

"FLAMEPAW! I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU!" Yowled Foxstar.

Flamepaw jumped. He turned to look at Foxstar, before getting up to face his leader. Is he challenging him? He'd die! But what if the prophecy wants that? What if Flamepaw was meant to die?

Flamepaw might be annoying, and rude, but Ravenwing wouldn't wish death on anyone, especially a 'kit' or 'paw', since they haven't lived through life yet.

"What? You scared of me fighting this punt warrior?" Flamepaw taunted. He seemed focused on fighting Foxstar, like he was wishing for death.

"EXCUSE ME!? I'VE HAD QUITE ENOUGH. YOUR LIFE SHALL BE TAKEN, IF YOU WANT TO BETRAY YOUR CLAN, YOU'LL DIE A TRAITOR!" Foxstar would pounce at Flamepaw.

Flamepaw dodged, taking his claws down Foxstar's side. Foxstar turned, snarling. Flamepaw tried to dodge Foxstar's claws, but Foxstar grabbed Flamepaw by the neck and Shaked Flamepaw violently.

Flamepaw went limp, letting Foxstar kill him. Foxstar thrusted Flamepaw into the air. Flamepaw fell, fast and swift.

Ravenwing heard a crack. He knew Flamepaw was dead, and that was that.

"This is what happens when you disobey me, warriors of FoxClan. Dont EVER. Try to disobey me like Flamepaw did." Foxstar snarled before he padded away to the leaders den.

Ravenwing was frozen in fear. He stared at Flamepaw's lifeless body, terrified. He looked around, seeing all the petrified faces on the other cats.

It's his fault he's dead, and he'll never forgive himself.
