Dovehearts' kit was growing fast. Ravenwing was watching Frogkit grow, waiting for her apprenticehood. He was secretly hoping that when she became an apprentice, he would be her mentor. Then he could become deputy.

But to be able to become deputy, Ottercloud would have to retire, get a permanent injury in which she would have to retire, or die. Maybe, with luck, she'd get sick and die, and he could be deputy.

Or... I could... Kill her. He thought. It would break the warrior code, but he had to fulfill the prophecy somehow. He would have to be deputy, and wait for Foxstar to die, so that Ravenwing could replace him and bring the clan back to it's rightful place. Maybe even become.... Ravenstar.

No. He told himself. Why would i murder someone for power? That's just like Foxstar! I can wait until Otterclouf passes naturally. Or maybe it is the right way...

Winterstone still was mad at Ravenwing. He was thinking about talking to her, but maybe it wasn't the best idea. She seemed to want to avoid him all together.

Ravenwing decides to talk to her. It would be best to get it over with than to just lose her, after already almost having a kit with her. So he went to look for her.

Ravenwing found Winterstone hanging out with Dustclaw, Honeyflare, and Dazzlestone, which was surprising.

(also, sorry for not writing, and bad writing, and a non-interesting story. I had lost motivation to write. I'm getting back into it! Again, sorry.)

Winterstone always had hated them, and they had hated her. Now, she was hanging out with them and talking with them. Ravenwing approached them a bit cautiously, hoping they weren't planning anything.

"What do you want?" Hissed Dustclaw, as Dazzlestone glared at Ravenwing aggressively. Ravenwing cleared his throat and turned to look at Dustclaw, standing his ground.

"Did it look like I was talking to you? We know your mom was Voleclaw, stop making it obvious." Ravenwing retorted. Dustclaw flinched. He didn't like that his mom had been Voleclaw. She was a disgrace to this clan, and he hated her, even though she was his mom.

"Leave him be. Atleast he had a mom." Hissed Dazzlestone, defensive of him. Ravenwing barely remembered his mom at all. He didn't even remember her warrior name.

"I just want to speak with Winterstone." Ravenwing mewed, trying to stay calm. Winterstone glanced at him a bit angrily, but kept herself calm aswell.

"She doesn't want to speak with you, flea-bag. She-" Honeyflare retorted, before getting cut off by the familiar calm and gentle voice of Winterstone.

"Of course I'll speak with you, Ravenwing." She meowed coolly, looking at him. "Privately. Follow me." She says, padding off, but turning her head to see if Ravenwing will follow.

Ravenwing followed hesitantly. Was she planning something? Maybe she intended to kill him. Even so, he had StarClan on his side, and he could defeat her if she tried... Hopefully.
