Warriors (fanmade) Super Edition: Ravenstar's Wish

Chapter 17

They waited. Ravenwing was getting impatient. Foxstar couldn't die! The prophecy said Ravenwing would replace Foxstar, or did it only say that he'd save the clan from Foxstar, and stay a warrior forever? Maybe. Ravenwing didn't think he was very leaderworthy.

"This is useless. The rain must of put the fire out by now. We have to go back to see if Foxstar is okay!" Called Doveheart. She seemed sad to lose the lead aswell. Why would they care? He's a fox!

"I make the rules." Growled Ottercloud. "We will wait here for a bit longer. If Foxstar doesn't come, we will go and see. Only I will enter the camp, to see if the fire is gone. If it isn't, we come back here."

Doveheart nodded respectfully. She didn't want to disrespect her deputy, even if it meant they couldn't save Foxstar.

"The fire is gone." Meowed an unknown cat from the forest. It's orange pelt shone, a bushy tail like a foxes. Maybe it was a fox...? They wouldn't be able to tell anymore ever since Foxstar had made them fall for it.

Ottercloud hissed. "Why are you, and why are you in FoxClan territory?" She snarled viciously, protecting her warriors.

"I'm Foxstar, silly!" He meowed, padding up to them.

Foxstar was alive!

Some of his fur was missing, probably burned off from the fire. His paws wee scorched, definitely going to need to heal. His ear was torn, maybe from a tree, but his eyes shone with pride as he looked at Ottercloud. "You did well while I was gone. I lost a life, though. I'm on my eighth life, which means I have 2 more lives before I truly die." He looked troubled, like he knew something was wrong.

"I'm proud of all of you," he continued. "You all did the right thing to wait for me, and Ottercloud's planning was perfect. I did the right thing choosing her as deputy." He looked at Ottercloud, and her eyes shone with pride. "You were all calm and patient, aswell."

Ravenwing wished he had those type of skills, but he probably couldn't even mentor an apprentice! Then again, soon they will have kits, and someone will have to mentor them. I wish I was strong and confident, just like Ottercloud. Maybe then I could lead FoxClan, but Ottercloud will probably lead. He thought.

"Let's all head back, we have a lot of work to rebuild camp." Mewed Foxstar.

They arrived at camp. It was a mess. The elders den was completely gone, all that was left was a pile of ash. The warriors den was half gone, and a small tree had fallen into camp, leaving less room. The apprentices den was untouched, but the nursery has holes and patches that needs to be patched.

"Thank god we evacuated when we did!" Meowed Doveheart, astonished. "We would all be dead!"

Ravenwing nodded, before looking at Winterstone. Her beauty was ruined by the fire. she'll always be beautiful to me. He thought. No matter what happens to her, she will always be his mate.

"Let's settle in and get this straightened up the best we can." Meowed Foxstar.

Her eye had opened, and she appeared to be blind in that eye. Squirrelfrost was checking if any herbs were saved. Most of them were good, and none of them burned. Just a few were outdated, but that was all.

Squirrelfrost was checking over Foxstar and Winterstone, making sure her baby would be okay. Meanwhile, Ravenwing, Spiderfang, Dazzlestone and Sorrelheart were patching the nursery, since that would be the easiest to fix. The queens would need it; they'd be giving birth soon.

"StarClan couldn't of struck lightning somewhere else?" Complained Dazzlestone. She always complained, even as an apprentice she complained.

"For StarClan's sake, shut your muzzle! All the warriors are fixing dens, your not special!" Snapped Ravenwing. Even if she was older then him, he was bigger and probably stronger. "You act as if your leader! You complained about cleaning out dens as an apprentice, and acted like u shouldn't have to! Now your here complaining about fixing dens to sleep? I DO have the rights to tell Foxstar to make you sleep in the clearing, and I WILL!"

That made Dazzlestone shut up. She continued working, building quietly.

One day I'll be the boss of you. Just wait and see.
