Ravenwing dashed to Squirrelfrost's den. "Dvehearts giving birth!" He yowled. Squirrelfrost immediately got up and ran to the nursery without a word. Ravenwing followed, to help, just incase.

Doveheart was lying in her nest, groaning in pain. She looked up weakly as she saw Ravenwing and Squirrelfrost enter the den.

Squirrelfrost felt Doveheart's stomache. "Only one kit. This won't take very long." He meowed, unfazed by the moment. He rubbed her belly to help the kit come out.

Doveheart would have a spasm, before a tiny kit fell out. Squirrelfrost pushed the kit to Doveheart so she could lick her kit to warm it. It was a light brown tabby she, with an unknown eye color until she opened her eyes.

Doveheart licked her kit gently, until it squealed and went to suckle, crawling to her mother's belly. Winterstone looked at the kit before rubbing against Ravenwing, purring. "We'll have our own kits one day." She purred.

Ravenwing also purred, admiring her warmth next to him. He felt happy around her, and soon they would have their very own kits. They spent their entire Apprenticehood together, trying their best to not fail. They never really trained together, and we're usually only talking together in the apprentices den.

Now, they were warriors, and couldn't go back. Their lives were fully ahead of them. Everything from the past was left behind, and the life towards their destinies was planned to happen.

"Doveheart, what are you going to name the kit?" Asked Winterstone after a little bit. Doveheart studied her kit, thinking of a name.

"I'm going to name her Frogkit," she finally mewed. The kit squeaked, before falling asleep. Doveheart curled her tail around her kit.

"Everyone, let Doveheart sleep. She needs rest after giving birth." Demanded Squirrelfrost. "Her kit is healthy."

Ravenwing and Winterstone padded away to sit together and talk. They were usually busy and never talked, so today was a good day to.

"I hope nothing happens to Frogkit. The kit seemed small, like Flamepaw!" She laughed. Ravenwing also laughed. He liked talking to her. She made him happy.

"Yeah. Foxstar might not like Frogkit. Then again, we need more kits. The clan is small and kind of weak." Replied Ravenwing. True, there was barely any cats in the clan.

"True. To be honest, I'm hoping our kits grow up strong and loyal and trustworthy and never betray us." Winterstone looked around. Almost all these cats had liked Foxstar. They trusted his leadership, and didn't care even if he was a fox or not. They didn't bother to exile him, since they knew they'd be doomed.

"Frogkit could grow up to be just like Foxstar, but hey, we'll never know," Ravenwing meowed. Winterstone didn't like that comment. She glared at him.

"Remember when we were all apprentices? When Dazzlestone, Dustclaw and Honeyflare would team up on you, and I'd stick up for you?" She asked, changing the subject.

"Yeah, and the one time Dustclaw almost got his head stuck in a bramble bush?" Laughed Ravenwing. One day Dustclaw and his mentor had been wandering the forest, when he fell face first into a bramble bush and almost got his neck tangled in the bush.

"You know, I think we should go hunt." Replied Winterstone. Ravenwing nodded, and they both went to hunt together, alone in the woods, finding prey on that night afternoon.
