Tw: Bulimia

Charles was genuinely worried about his wife for the first time. Of course he knew the problems of her.
However, he never understood them or what their purpose was. Diana has always been overly dramatic and, above all, very emotional and he's never been good with that kind of emotion and he's never been good with that kind of emotion. He couldn't imagine the struggle she had to face to stay stable.
That's why he had always gone to Camilla for fear of dealing with problems that were probably worse than expected. His parents wanted to give her many sedative medications which he knew she had never taken and that the boys were the main reason for refusing the medication. He never really expected his friends to be so hurtful.
Tease yes but don't hurt. Diana was still his wife, after all, even if it was only on paper. Sighing, he ran to the boys hoping that she had at least run there.
The boys had always been Diana's mainstay and probably the only one she had- His subconscious was only talking to him to shatter his hopes when he saw the laughing boys playing on the bed with a game boy they probably got from Diana and it saddened him how they quickly hid him, startled when they noticed him and Charles raised his hand reassuringly.
"Your Mother?" He asked the obvious.
"Don't be mad at her." William pleaded with his father with a pleading look.
"I'm not mad at Mom. You can forward keep playing." He reassured them both. "Did Mom come by here?" Charles asked her in a hopeful voice and sighed in relief when Will nodded.
"She's in her room...but she doesn't want anyone to disturb her!" William said, slightly panicked.
"and what Will?" he asked his son sternly.
"She had some pastry boxes with her. Mom thought we wouldn't notice." William admitted quietly.
"Damned!" Charles growled angrily more at his friends than at Diana.
"Did she lock her room?" He silently begged them to say no and sighed in relief at the boys' heads shaking and thanked them both with a gentle kiss on the forehead and hesitantly went to Diana's cabin in hope, that she only had the pastries with her because she hadn't finished dinner just to look at all the chaos that was all over her room.
It looked like a tornado had devastated her room and he winced when he heard her throw up in the bathroom and quietly opened the door to get to her while hesitantly kneeling behind her and tenderly starting to pull the hair out of her face hold. It was the first time Charles was with her in a moment like this. He couldn't bear to watch her destroy herself and shatter in silence.
"Diana..." he pleaded softly against her hair.
"Goaway!...Please..." Diana pleaded quietly while coughing when she felt something come up again.
The last thing she wanted was for Charles to see her as completely unstable and start using it against her and give his friends that extra encouragement to continue the insults. She had received a confused look from the staff as she walked into the kitchen and picked up the many pastry boxes.
The only good thing about the staff is that they don't question what you're doing and they think or hope that they're well hidden from the boys' view as they pass by. When she got to the room. Had her original plan been to end the meal normally, only she hadn't reckoned with how deeply Charles's friends' words had stuck. Who had distracted her from her eating pace and hadn't counted on how quickly she had lost control of her thoughts while eating so much when she came to her senses and shamedly covered the whole mess in the room.
Diana just didn't hope that Charles would show up if he ever stopped by her room for whatever reason and quickly disappeared into her bathroom when she realized she was starting to feel nauseous, turning on the water in the sink and kneeling on the carpet before the toilet.
The last thing she expected was Charles actually coming into her room, stroking her hair back from her face and at the end carefully handing her a glass of water, which she used to rinse her mouth first and then hesitantly drank while Charles gently patted her face, neck, neck and shoulders with a damp cloth to soothe her body again and finally carried her to her bed and laid her on it lovingly and gave her a mint from his pocket which she hesitantly put in her mouth.
"I want you to start seeing someone a profesional."Charles asked in a pleading voice while Diana snorted.
"I will not speak to any family doctor!" This would inform the Queen about everything and there would be another huge scandal for which she is the culprit, as always. "And I don't think your family thinks highly of psychologists." Diana started to hide her face in the pillow, making Charles sigh softly and kiss her gently on the shoulder.
"Then an independent healer. My family doesn't think much of psychologists. That's true, but you need help Diana."
"why now? You used to call me a crying wolf. You can ignore it like you always do and go back to your wonderful friends!" she hissed ironically.
"They are packing." Charles admitted and Diana turned to him in confusion and disappointed.
"We're leaving, aren't we?" And got even more confused while Charles shook his head.
"They're leaving today. We'll stay here with the boys until the end." He explained in a tender voice and was rewarded by diana with a beaming smile which he admittedly missed a lot.
"Really? we stay?" Diana asked him excitedly and he chuckled and nodded in agreement.
"We stay, Di" Charles promised.
"but why did you send her away?" Diana asked him confused. "I thought you needed them here..."
"What I needed are friends who respect my wife...they should be company for you too. To make you feel good and get out of your shell. They went too far today and that's why I sent them home." Charles murmured, still ashamed of what had happened and he hadn't even stopped it.
He was snapped out of his thoughts as Diana slowly began to snuggle up to him. Slowly, as if asking for his permission, afraid he would refuse, whispering a soft thank you into his shoulder and Charles kissed her forehead lovingly and put an arm around her and pulled her closer.
"and Di...?" He started quietly, grinning slightly at her questioning look. "Next time you let me know when you give the boys the Gameboy to play with." Charles teased softly and saw her still relaxed expression quickly turn into shock.
"They are children..." she began slowly and she's probably running through a thousand apologies right now for fear of starting a fight. He interrupted those thoughts with a careful but willful kiss which Diana relaxed again and returned the kiss with hesitation.
