chapter 10

(One month later)

After we all got time to gather our strength and I had time to heal we had to fix up the cabin so that Wendy could look after the other hybrids and we could get going faster. It took about a week then we had it all fixed up "nooo I don't wanna stay I wanna go with you guys" Wendy was winning while giving Gus goo goo eyes. I just stood there my ears so far back, I was so close to jumping on her and biting her arm off. Gus grabbed my hand and started talking I didn't hear him all I could hear now was my heart pounding in my ears while seeing nothing but red. Wendy then had the nerve to smirk at me I was bearing my fangs until Gus squeezed my hand and looked at me from the corner of his eye he then gave me a little smile. I tried to calme down but I couldn't so I excused myself and left fuming. I don't know how long or how far I walked but I ended up at this little clearing with an old beat up car seat with a bunch of little books and some ducks. I sat down watched the ducks then decided to read the little books. They were kinda broken and poorly made but we're nice for them being isolated for so long. When I finished reading I start to head back I didn't know what to expect but I hoped that Wendy wasn't there anymore.
(Time skip, to when Vee returns)
when I got back I didn't see anyone so I went inside and heard yelling coming from Gus's room. it was Gus yelling at Wendy I chose not to go in and just listen
"I can't believe you! You know that me and Denavee are dating yet you still try to force yourself on to me. You are such a bad friend and even if I did like you there is no way I would do that to her!" Gus then stormed out and was shocked to see me sitting right around the corner. "Ah uh hi pup what are you doing here I was just about to go look for you" "were you also going to tell me that Wendy forced herself into you" I watched as his expression changed. he looked down I could easily tell he was ashamed
"a-are you mad" "yes.. but not at you" his head shot up "your not mad at me" he was surprised but I didn't know why
"why would I be mad at you" I said and cupped his face with my hand. He was tearing up and pulled me into a hug
"I'm sorry I wasn't going to tell you" I hugged him back then after a few seconds I let go. "Now then I'm going to go deal with Wendy" "y-you aren't going to kill her are you" I shook my head and went to find Becky then we both went to Gus's room.
