One of His Concubines

PROLOGUE

“Kawawa naman ang, crown prince. Hindi na nga niya nameet ang totoo niyang ina. Natanggal pa sa kanya ang pagiging crown prince dahil lang sa pagmamahal niya sa isang anak ng baron.” I shaked my head when I heard my friends talking about the novel they tried to recommended it to me.

We just finished our test in one of our subject for today's schedule. And my friends are talking about this novel again.

“Hey, Alon, did you read the novel we recommended it to you.”

“Yeah, just the first page. My schedule is busy so I don't have time to finish it.” I honestly said. The two throwed a disappointed look at me.

“You two, It's not my fault that I'm busy.” I clarified while grabbing my things on my desk and put into my shoulder bag.

“Sayang naman but I'll spoil niyo na lang.” I chuckled to   Klea's remarked.

She loves to spoil us. I don't have time to read the story so I nodded at her. She smiled widely. She even arrange her chair, so she can see me while storytelling. Also Browneth sat beside me. Klea started.

“The Crown Prince kidnapped the Baron's daughter because he couldn't accept that the heroine chosen the Duke than him. Then the Duke saved the heroine and captured the Crown Prince. The Emperor was disappointed and removed the crown title to his son—” The bell rang.

“Saved by the bell.” Klea frowned. Browneth and I laughed.

Browneth and klea were went to there next class. While me, I decided to go to our school garden. It's my vacant right now and there's no students in this time.

When I arrived in the garden. Its empty.

“I'm solo again.” I can't help to smile.

There's a trees, different kinds of flowers, tables, chairs and a big fountain. I can hear the water flowing and the birds tweeting somewhere. The air was gentle but cold when it touches my skin. I sighed.

“Heaven...”

I noticed the lake in the garden. I never went near to that lake. I'm scared because I don't know how to swim. What if I fell to that lake and there's no one to save me.

I can't help to be mesmerized. It's so beautiful. The lake is reflecting the sky. It's good in my ig post.

I draw close to the lake and took my phone. I immediately clicked the camera app and took a snap of it. The water lilys are so beautiful.

My eyes widened when my phone slips on my hand. I felt a force in my back that made me fell into the lake. My heart's pounding so fast.

I tried to move my both arms but I'm sinking fast. I even tried to swing my legs but it's not working. My heart slowly losing her breath. I saw bubbles coming from my mouth when I tried to talk. My eyelids became heavy and before I lost my consciousness. I saw a shadow on the surface.
