Wanderer's POV

I flew under the bridge and went to hide behind a nearby rock and overheard everything.

I didn't notice how hard my grip on my memory block was, or how droplets of tears were rolling down my cheeks.

I'm sorry.. Y/n.. I can't be with you till I kill him and his minions.. I just want you to be safe. I will write you the explanation you desire.

Y/n's POV

Cyno escorted me home. And as soon I stepped through the doors, my mother called out.

"Welcome home, dear."

"How long was I asleep for mother..?"

"... So Wanderer told you.."

"You know him?"

"I won't say I know him. In fact, I only met him this morning and later found out that you knew him. But for some reason he doesn't know you. He asked me a few questions about you before heading to your room."

"... He lost his memories because of me.." I mumbled under my breathe.

"What was that?"

"Nothing, mom.. But can you tell me how long I was asleep for?"

"At least 2 days.. I don't actually know since I was in my room most of the time."

"I see.. I'm heading to my room."

"Alright."

I went upstairs and opened the door to my room. Just as I was about to lay down on my bed, I noticed a piece of folded paper on my pillow.
