012: A Moment

Due to how late it was last night everyone had to go home. Luckily Alice was moving in opposite Nini so Summer, Alice, Nini and Kourtney all met up and went to a cafe early in the morning.
Summer and Alice were sat at a table my the window in the corner, while Nini and Kourtney had gone to get the drinks, given the two childhood friends time to catch up.
"I still can't believe your here. I mean, how?" Summer says.
"Your friend Ricky called at like 4pm yesterday, didn't tell me what but said you had been going through a lot of stuff. Me and my parents were planning on moving back, we had already brought the house, we just had the few things we had to do before. But when Ricky called I talked to my parents and they said we could come back yesterday, so me and my mom toke the 5 hour drive here, while my dad stayed there to finish of the stuff we need to. He'll be coming on Tuesday." Alice explains.
"I'm so happy right now. Seriously. I missed you so much." Summer says. "Talking on the phone, face-timing and texting is not the same."
"Tell me about it. I missed you to." Alice says as Nini and Kourtney come back over.
"How did Ricky get your number though?" Summer asks.
"Sum, do you remember when mama D asked for your phone so her and my mom could put their numbers in your phone?" Nini asks sitting down.
"Yeah?" Summer says confused.
"They got Alice's number then and gave it to Ricky." Nini explains.
"That does match up." Summer says with a laugh. "I can't believe Ricky would do that for me."
"Why not? You guys are best friends." Nini points out.
"And it's obvious he likes you." Kourtney adds.
"Yeah right." Summer says with a laugh.
"Sum, I only met Ricky yesterday and I can already tell he likes you." Alice says.
"You girls believe what you want to believe." Summer says.
The girls continue talking and laughing, spending the whole day together.

It was Monday and it was the day of photos for a programme that would be given out to the audition on opening night. Alice had joined the cast as part of the ensemble. Everyone was in costume, their outfits looked exactly like they did on the original movie poster. Summer walks over to Nini, Alice and Kourtney in her Gabriella costume. Nini was in her Kelsi costume as even though Kelsi wasn't on the actual poster Miss Jenn wanted Nini to be on the one for the production.
"Oh my gosh, you look perfect! Yes!" Kourtney says.
"Okay, people,let's do this!" Ricky shouts causing the girls to turn and look at him.
"Oh, my god! Ricky!" Summer says laughing at how Ricky looked.
He was wearing an outfit just like Troy. He even had a wig on to make him look even more like Troy.
"What?" Ricky says flicking his head slightly.
"I can't. There's... there's so much to talk about." Summer says.
"Wait, what's funny?" Ricky asks as the four girls continue to laugh uncontrollably.
Ricky walks over to Summer lightly wrapping an arm around Summer's shoulder.
"What you laughing at, Gabriella?" He asks.
"Oh, wouldn't you like to know, Troy." Summer says with a laugh before starting to walk away from him.
"Yeah, I would actually." Ricky says.
Summer walks back stage where Ellie was sat on her ipad. Ellie's school was shut for the day while it got some repairs done, so as Nini's mom's where at work, Ellie was staying with Summer all day, while Summer was in lessons Ellie would be sitting in Miss Jenn's office with her.
"You doing okay, El?" Summer asks.
"I'm bored." Ellie admits.
"Well, I got something that will lighten your mood, come on." Summer says taking Ellie's hand dragging her out onto the stage before pointing at Ricky who was talking to Big Red. "Look."
Ellie burst out laughing causing Ricky to look at her.
"What you laughing out mini Gabriella?" Ricky asks.
"You're hair! What happened to it?" Ellie asks.
"Don't know what you're talking about." Ricky says ruffling Ellie's hair.
Yesterday the whole cast met up and became a lot closer. Summer and Gina probably improved their friendship the second most. Ricky and Ellie had very quickly created this brother, sister bond that Summer couldn't help but smile every-time they interacted.
"Let's get some air, Wildcats." Gina says walking out in her Taylor costume before posing for a photo, which Big Red took.
"Good morning, Gina." Summer says jokingly.
Gina turns to Summer, Ellie and Ricky laughing at Ricky's hair.
"Pretty good, right?" Ricky asks.
"Gabriella, you look the best." Gina says jokingly ignoring Ricky.
Summer and Gina high five.
"What about me?" Ellie asks striking a pose.
"Oh, you definitely look amazing to, El." Gina says high fiving the younger girl.
"Uhm, and me?" Ricky asks.
"You look okay." Gina says causing Ricky to give him an offended look. "I'm joking. You look great."
Gina playfully punching Ricky's shoulder.
"Okay guys, we're gonna get one in for practice, okay?" Big Red says ass everyone goes to take their spots. Ellie going over to stand with Kourtney. "We're all gonna jump on the count of three. Ready?"
Big Red counts down and everyone jumps at different times, as Kourtney runs across the stage holding Ellie's hand over to Alice who was on the other side of the stage.
"Oh, my gosh. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry." Kourtney says.
They go again, all jumping at different times again. Someone knocks over the 'L' in the sign above them.
"Wait what happened?" Big Red asks.
"Where to begin?" Ricky asks.
"I think you went early." Seb says.
"Are we jumping on three or after three?" Gina asks.
"Yeah, the count of three, ready?" Big Red says.
"Nah, man, you need some new words." Ricky says.
"I think I broke a heel." Seb says.
"You guys, this isn't that hard." Carlos says with a sigh. "You smile, you leave the earth, you land."
"It's a little hard to smile when we don't know the plan." Ricky says.
"I can't look at Ricky. Is that a problem?" Summer asks causing Ricky to give her a offended look as everyone laughs.
"Okay, let's take a five." Carlos says.
"On five or after five?" Ricky asks walking away as Summer laughs again.
"I think he's mad at us." Seb says.
"He definitely is." Ellie says.
"Can little Jones please be apart of the show. She is hilarious." The guy playing Ryan asks.
"I'm also very hungry." Ellie says.
Summer shakes her head laughing as she goes over to her sister.
"Come on. Let's go get you a snack." Summer says grabbing Ellie's hand. She turns to everyone else. "Be back in a minute."
