Summer was walking home from school. Ellie had stayed back with Emmy to help Miss Jenn with stuff for the musical. Summer had her earphones in so could not hear if someone was behind her. Until she heard a shout. "Summer! Sweetheart!" Summer turns to see her parents stood there. She internally freezes as her eyes widen, taking out her earphones, Summer takes a shaky breath. "Aren't you excited to see us?" Her father asks. "Come on, honey. We haven't seen you for nearly a whole year. Come give us a hug." Her mother says, taking a step forward causing Summer to take a step back. "Oh so you want to play that game." Her father says. "Come on sweetie, why don't we all go back to our house and talk." Summer couldn't say a single word. She didn't know what to say. The people who made her childhood a living hell instead of loving her like the were meant to, were stood right in front of her. "Come on, sweetie, please." Her mother says, as her father walks up to her, grabbing her hand before she could react. "Hey! Back up." Summer looks to see Mike Bowen, walking up to them. "I'm sorry? Who are you?" Her father asks. "The person who helped your daughters get out of your toxic household. So..." Mike says, pushing summers fathers hand off her hand. "I would leave if I was you." Her mother scoffs while her father just rolled his eyes. "This really doesn't concern you." Her father tells Mike. "Yeah it is. Come on, Summer." Mike says, stepping in front of Summer so her parents couldn't get to her. Summer walked to Mike's car him following her once making sure her parents couldn't get to her. Once in the car, summer lets the tears that hand been building up finally fall. "Hey." Mike says, placing a gentle hand on the teen girls shoulder. "It's okay. You're okay." Mike pulls Summer into his arms as she sobs. Deep inside she questioned why Mike was around her as he lives pretty much on the other side of town, but right now she was just happy she was, because if he wasn't she would have never gotten out of there.

Summer was sat on her bed thinking about what happened with her parents. She hears a tapping on her window causing her to jump before looking over and seeing Ricky. She sighs in relief when she sees it's him, before going over and letting him in. "Hey." Summer says. "Hi." Ricky replies. "Are you okay? My dad told me what happened." "I'm okay." Summer reassures him. "You sure?" Ricky asks. "Yeah. Yeah I'm sure." Summer says. "Wait... Why are you dressed up like your in Baywatch?" "Uhm... Gina's Halloween party." Ricky says. "Oh right." Summer says. "Why aren't you dressed up?" Ricky questions. "Oh... Uhm... me and and Gina got into a bit of a fight. So I just guessed she wouldn't want me to go." Summer says. "Nonsense, come on. You can go with me. And if she kicks you out she kicks me out. I'm not letting you miss out." Ricky tells her. "Okay. You wait down the road I'll get changed and meet you." Summer says. Ricky smiles and kisses her before climbing out the window again. Ricky knew he had to tell Summer about Dani taking a place in the musical, but with everything going on with her parents and Gina, Ricky doesn't want to make things worse for her. So he decides to tell her another time.

Summer and Ricky get to the party and Ricky blows his whistle as they walk up the stairs. "Let's get this starty parted!" Ricky cheers as they get to the top. "No. Let me come in again." Ricky runs back downstairs as Summer laughs and walks over to Carlos and Ashlyn, with Gina stood on the other side of Ashlyn to Carlos. "Is he okay?" Carlos asks Summer. "He's been like this since he picked me up." Summer says. "Summy! You came." Ellie says, running over. Hugging her sister tightly. "I certainly did." Summer says, hugging Ellie back. "Bowen as Baywatch." Ashlyn whispers over to her. Ricky comes in pretending to swim. "Okay, is this like a Zac Efron deep cut?" Gina asks, before the door bell goes. "Oh, my gosh. I think that's our first trick or treater." Gina then excitedly runs to get the bucket. "In the attic?" Carlos asks. "I made signage." Gina says. Someone with a pumpkin mask then comes in and takes a candy out the bucket before walking over to Summer, Ricky, Ellie, Carlos and Ashlyn. "Hey, little tall guy." Ricky says, nervously. "Where's your candy bag? Buddy? Are you lost?" The person hands Carlos the sweet before walking away. Carlos looks at the others. "I'm scared." He whispers, in a high pitch voice. Summer laughs before going to talk to others.
"Hey!" Summer says walking over to Alice and Stephanie. "Of course you go with Eliza Schuyler from 'Hamiltion'." Alice says. "Well, it's only the best musical ever made." Summer says. "Yeah, true. We still have yet to go see it all together. We've been saying we would." Stephanie says. "I know. Wait? Did we have the same idea?" Summer asks, noticing her best friends costumes. "What do you mean?" Alice asks. "Peggy Schuyler." Summer says, gesturing to Alice's costume before gesturing to Stephanie's. "And Angelica Schuyler." "I mean, you're right. 'Hamilton' is the best musical ever." Alice says. "Anyway, how are you feeling?" "What are you talking about?" Summer asks. "First an album and now a movie. You're living the life girl." Stephanie says. "I know, I'm so happy. It's even more special that you guys are supporting me." Summer says. "we'll always support you." Stephanie tells her. "This has been your dream since I've known you. Which has been since Kindergarten. I'm so proud of you." Alice says, causing Summer to hug the two girls. "Thank you." Summer says, pulling away. "I actually talked to EJ and Haliee yesterday, they both happy as well." "I still can't believe those two are together." Stephanie says. "Same. Who saw it coming?" Alice asks. "Me." Summer says, raising her hand in the air. "Really?" Stephanie asks. "Yep." Summer says. "Well if it isn't the Schuyler sisters. Isn't this the wrong day in age for you guys?" Ricky asks, walking over to the trio. "Very funny, Bowen." Stephanie says. "Stand together. I'll get a photo." Ricky tells the three girls. The do as Ricky said, getting one normal one before getting one of them in the iconic Schuyler sisters pose. Even though today didn't start out great, Summer was just happy to be spending time with the people she was lucky enough to call her best friends.
