She watches as he grabs his guitar. "What are you doing?" "Ricky, that was incredible thank you." Summer says with a smile. "There's still one more thing." Ricky says pulling a ring box out his pocket and kneeling down in front of her. "Ricky, we're..." Summer starts. "No, no, it's not that. At least not right now. One day it will be, I know it will." Ricky says. "But this..." He opens the ring box and a small rose gold diamond ring was inside. "This is a promise ring, to show how much I love you." "Ricky." Summer says shocked putting a hand over her mouth as Ricky slides the ring onto her finger on her other hand. "I love it. And I love you." "Love you to, baby." Ricky says kissing her. "Okay, now sit down. I got to give you my present." Summer says. Ricky does as Summer told her. Summer pulls her small portable keyboard from her bag. "Guess we had the same idea." Ricky says with a laugh. "Guess we did." "I love it, Sum." Ricky tells her. "Really?" Summer asks. "Of course." Ricky replies as Summer stands up and walks over to him. "I also got you this." Summer says handing him a small box. He looks at her before opening it to find a charm bracelet with 'R' and 'S' charms with a heart charm between the two letters. "It's perfect." Ricky says standing up before leaning down and kissing her. "First I was a guy who now wears necklaces and now I'm a guy who wears bracelets as well." Ricky says sliding the bracelet onto his wrist. Summer smiles before playing with the necklace which had been around Ricky's neck ever since opening night of 'Hugh School Musical' while Ricky does the same with her necklace.

The day after valentines day, Summer and Ricky had found themselves sat on the grass in the park, having a picnic. Madelyn was taking Summer and Ellie to California for a couple weeks as a way of helping them more with their parents. But a storm was due to come on the day they were meant to be taking off, so Summer wasn't 100% sure they would be able to make it. But, her and Ricky decided to treat it like it was gonna happen just in case it would. They wanted to make the most of the time they had together before being apart for two weeks. "Can you believe Nini came down to surprise us?" Ricky asks as Summer takes a bite of a strawberry. "No, I can not." Summer says. "She's Nini. She's awful at keeping secrets without telling no one, so I'm surprised to managed to this time." "True." Ricky says. Ricky pulls his phone out videoing Summer as she takes enough bite of the strawberry. "Ricky." Summer sighs as she drops the strawberry. "What?" Ricky asks with a knowing smile. "No." Summer says laughing shaking her head and covering her face with her hands "Hey." Ricky says using his hand not holding his phone to remove her hands from her face. He keeps hold of one of them, kissing her knuckles before stopping the recording and putting his phone down. "I love you, Summer Marie Jones." Ricky tells her. "I love you to Richard Micky Bowen." Summer replies. The two smile at each other before both of them lean in.
