After what happened with Ricky outside the house, Summer walks into the house to see Ellie in the kitchen with Mama Carol making dinner.
"Summy!" Ellie shouts seeing her older sister.
"Hey El." Summer replies with a laugh.
"Hey Summer." Mama Carol says.
"Hey mama Carol." Summer replies. "Want any help?"
"We've got it Summer, you go upstairs and relax." Mama Carol tells her.
"Are you sure?" Summer aaks.
"Yeah, we're sure Summy." Ellie says.
"Okay, shout up if anything changes." Summer says before going upstairs.

Summer was sat at her desk doing some homework when there was a knock on her door.
"Yeah, come in." Summer says.
The door then opens and Nini walks in.
"Hey Sum." Nini says.
"Hey Neen's. How's Kourtney doing?" Summer asks.
"She's putting on a brave face but I think deep down she's really hurting." Nini says, as she sits down on Summer's bed.
"Yeah, I get that." Summer says, turning her chair to look at Nini.
"What do you mean?" Nini asks.
"Well, with my parents and when I was with Landon, I always pretended to be happy but deep down I was really struggling. So I know what it's like." Summer explains.
"You know we're all here for you right." Nini says. "Me, Ricky, Ellie..."
"Ellie can't find out what happened. She cant find out none of it. At least not right now. I'll tell her when she's older. Like 13 or 14 at the earliest." Summer says.
"Okay, well, everyone else then. Me, Ricky, my moms, Ricky's dad, Miss Jenn, Madelyn, Kourtney, Alice, Stephanie, Haliee, Big Red, Ashlyn, EJ, Gina, Carlos, Seb, the whole drama club, even Mr Mazzara, we're all here for you." Nini tells her.
"I know. And I really appreciate it. I don't know what I would do without you guys, honestly." Summer admits.
"Well, without me you would probably go insane." Nini says causing Summer to laugh.
"Honestly, that's probably true." Summer admits.
"Yeah it is." Nini agrees as the two girls laugh.
"Summy! Ninsy! Dinner's ready!" The two girls hear Ellie shout from downstairs.
"Coming now, El." Summer replies before the two girls stand up.
"Sum, just quickly. How are things with Ricky? When he came up to me, you and Kourt earlier, things seemed a bit intense." Nini says.
"To be honest I don't know at the moment. I thought they were okay. But like, an hour or so ago, I was sat outside, he came up and we talked. I mentioned how he could trust me and how I could trust him, but when I said I could trust him he acted all weird and left pretty much without another word." Summer explains.
"I'm sure things are okay and you're just over thinking it. And if they're not, you guys are Summer and Ricky. Or as I like to call you 'Sumicky'. Things always work out for you two in the end." Nini reassures her best friend.
"Thanks Neen's." Summer says before hugging her. "Now let's head downstairs and have dinner. I'm starving."
"Yeah, same." Nini says laughing before following Summer downstairs.

Summer was sat in a tree-house that Nini's moms had built after dinner. Her, Ricky and Nini use to spend everyday after school for a couple of hours up there. Everyone else was sat in the living room inside, watching TV.
"Knock, knock." She hears Ricky voice from outside.
"No boys allowed, unless your name is Ricky Bowen." Summer replies.
She hears Ricky lightly laugh as he opens the door, before poking his head in.
"Hi." Ricky says.
"Hey." Summer replies.
"Man, I can't believe this tree-house is still standing." Ricky says.
"Yeah well, Nini's moms build things to last." Summer replies.
"No kidding." Ricky says as he sits opposite her. "Do you remember how big this thing felt when we were little?"
"Me, you, Nini and sometimes Big Red and Kourtney spent everyday up here in 6,7,8 and 9th grade up here." Summer says.
"What did we use to call it?" Ricky asks.
"The Forest Palace." Summer says. "So, what are you doing here? It's late."
"I wanted to clear the air about something. But, uhm.. first, this is giving me flashbacks to the..."
"I knew this was gonna happen." Summer says with a laugh. "We were kids, okay? I didn't know braces could interlock."
"It was still a solid first kiss, though." Ricky says.
"Until Nini and Big Red caught us, and wouldn't stop making fun of us for a whole year." Summer says. "I mean, we weren't even dating. You liked Nini back then."
"No." Ricky says.
"No?" Summer questions.
"It's always been you." Ricky tells her. "Always has been, always will be."
"It's always been you to." Summer says.
"So what did you career test say?" Ricky asks.
"Oh uhm... just that I need to take more risks and that I will get to where I want to be if I start taking those risks." Summer answers.
"Well, that's 100% true." Ricky says.
The two laugh before Summer's phone goes off.
"That's probably Nini or Ellie asking where I am." Summer says with a laugh.
"I deleted a comment on your's and Nini's new Insta today. On the post you showed me." Ricky tells her.
"What?" Summer asks.
"When you gave me your phone, someone was scouting you for a music showcase thing, and  erased it, and then I couldn't unerase it," Ricky explains.
"Ricky, that's not okay." Summer says, tears welling up in her eyes.
"I agree, I know. I know none of this is. I'm just... I'm sorry at this point." Ricky says. "I've been trying to do everything I can to make things work because I love you so much. Honestly, I don't like who I'm becoming."
"What's that suppose to mean?" Summer asks.
"I don't like being the type of guy who makes things harder for his girlfriend, just because he's struggling with his own problems." Ricky admits.
"Ricky, you aren't making things harder for me." Summer tells him.
"The weekend intensive, when I said you had the perfect life?" Ricky says. "I'll never forgive myself for saying that to you. Not after everything that has happened in your life."
"Ricky, it's okay. I forgive you." Summer tells him.
"That's the thing, Sum. I can't forgive myself for hurting you." Ricky says. "And I don't want to go on hurting you."
"W-What are you saying Ricky?" Summer asks.
"I can't be the one who hurts you anymore. I said multiple things that have hurt you, I accused you of thinking about your ex who was awful to you, I've deleted a comment that could of change you're life." Ricky says.
"What are you saying, Ricky? Please just tell me." Summer says.
"I think we should go on a break." Ricky admits.
"The last time you went on a break with someone you broke up." Summer reminds him. "I don't want that to happen to us."
"It won't happen to us, Sum. Remember what I said before? 'we'll find each other again. Because this. Us? We've got something that is something that I'm never going to let go of.'" Ricky says, grabbing Summers hands as she speaks.
Summer slowly nods as she starts to sob softly.
"Can I just hold you?" Summer asks.
Ricky nods before kneeling down in front of her pulling her into a tight hug. She starts sobbing in her shoulder.
"It's okay. You know, I got you." Ricky says rubbing her back. Summer slowly pulls away wiping her tears away. They both look at each other and nod sadly knowing what had to happen next.

"Goodbye, Summer."
"Goodbye, Ricky."
