SOMETIMES YOU FELT LIKE MAYBE YOU LIKE SUFFERING....Different high-priced people step around you as you hand out their beverages. Today was the day you regretted not calling out of work. Today is a bachelorette party. Mikasa's bachelorette party. You assumed her dad planned this due to him owning the small villa restaurant on the resort.

Perhaps it's easier to put on a smile and move along, pretending your heart didn't swell up with envy. You move back to the bar, setting the tray down with a groan.

"Rough night?"

"You don't even know Onyankopon." You said you were taking the red wine from the fridge: "It's hard enough; I missed weeks of school, but now I have to work for my ex-girlfriend's arranged bachelorette party."

Onyankopon hummed, wiping down the counter. "We can't go back; we can only go forward. So with that, you can find love in your heart until you lose the grief of the love you had in the past."

You stared at him as he only shrugged. "Or don't. I don't really know how this shit works."

You patted his shoulder as you walked behind him. You grabbed the wine glasses and set them on the tray. You felt Onyan flinch when a sudden hand slammed down on the counter.

"Excuse me, I ordered wine like five minutes ago and I haven't gotten it. Where's the girl that took it?"

You see her look over at you and she snapped her fingers. "Yes, you girl, where is my wine?"

"I just took it out, ma'am. I'll be over at your table soon." You said as you tried to keep your composure. Onyan looked between the two of you as the lady let out a long groan.

"This isn't the right wine. I asked for white. I swear people like you don't listen." She mumbled under her breath.

"People like who? I know you're not the one to talk. My mom works with you, and everyone talks about you alot."

"What can people personally talk about? There's nothing wrong." She said.

"For one, you need a new implant doctor because yours looks like it's about to burst. Second, no one likes your bland cooking, so stop bringing it to company dinners. The chicken was so dry, I'm pretty sure I developed bronchitis in my lungs."

You leaned over the counter, whispering in her ear, "Plus, I think your husband is cheating on you over there with a bridesmate, so I believe you have better things to worry about other than my life."
