Y/N PoV:

The dinner started off fine, with light chatter as we stood by and served the Lords' needs. As the evening progressed, things began to turn for the worse, with Lady Dimitrescu and Heisenberg constantly arguing, and Ladies Cassandra and Daniela drinking a little too much.

"Oh whatever super-sized bitch, it's not my fault those villagers ended up on your property, that's just the way the lycan chased them!" Heisenberg barked, and Lady Dimitrescu huffed.

"Your lycan, mutt. I will not stand for you lying to me." She growled, and Heisenberg began to stand up, before Ben grabbed his arm and pulled him back down, whispering something to him. Heisenberg relaxed, and Lady Dimitrescu smirked.

"At least one of you has some sense." Ben smiled at her good-naturedly, obviously still trying to calm Heisenberg down.

"I try to be a little bit less hot-headed, my lady." He explained, before going back to whispering to Heisenberg. Blossom, Rowan and I cleared away the dishes, leaving out the glasses and bottles since we knew more wine would still be poured before the evening was out.

"So, Bela, how are Miranda and Mia treating you?" Lady Dimitrescu asked, and Lady Bela smiled brightly.

"Wonderfully, Mother. They're very loving, even if they both have a cold exterior." She explained, and both Lady Mia and Mother Miranda blushed.

"Good, good. Tell me the moment they're otherwise, and I'll eviscerate them." Lady Dimitrescu chuckled, but with her face being cloaked in shadow the threat carried.

"Oh don't worry Alcina, we wouldn't dare treat our little fly like anything but royalty." Lady Mia purred, making Lady Bela blush and look away. Blossom brought out a large cake, which everybody took a piece of quickly, and Blossom handed both myself and Rowan a piece.

"Enjoy, you two. The evening's going great, so far." She murmured, and then went to lean against Rowan. I ate my piece of cake, watching the family interact with each other, chuckling at their antics as the evening progressed.

About two hours later, we had all retreated to Mother Miranda's parlor. We were all sitting, minus Rowan and Heisenberg leaning against the wall and chatting with each other, while Ben was asleep in a recliner. I was currently laying on a couch with Lady Daniela and Lady Cassandra, who had both proclaimed "You're warm" and then fallen asleep on me.

"I do not like this game, Mia. Blue." Lady Dimitrescu grumbled as her, Mother Miranda, Lady Mia, Lord Moreau, Lady Beneviento, and Lady Bela played Uno.

"Yes, Mi Mi, please don't bring this out again." Lady Bela groaned, looking at her rather large collection of cards that had formed.

"You think this is bad, wait till you try Monopoly." Lady Mia chuckled, and looked over at me, giggling.

"Comfortable, Y/N?" She teased, and I just sighed, shrugging.

"I feel like this could truthfully be a lot worse, my lady." I admitted, and she giggled again, smiling brightly at me.

"You aren't wrong. You can ask Rowan, they usually get chased around the house." She laughed, and the hunter scoffed.

"Fucking right! Those two are usually bats out of Hell after they drink, you got lucky Y/N." They grumbled, before going back to talking to Heisenberg.

"They've got good taste, Y/N's a good cuddler~" Lady Bela purred, and I blushed deep red, making everybody at the table laugh. As the evening progressed, the two got off of me to play Uno, apparently having slept off their drunken states. They were almost instantly replaced by Mother Miranda, who evidently was tired from a long game of Uno and taking care of Eva.

"I'll get up eventually, you're just the only one whose laying down right now..." She murmured, drifting off. I just laid there, happy I was able to relax for the better part of the evening. I saw Lady Beneviento leave the game, settling in another recliner and going to sleep, while Angie stayed playing the game. Lady Daniela followed her, sitting in her lap and laying against her, before falling asleep. I chuckled, before closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep.

I woke up at midnight, evidenced by the lack of light in the room and the darkness outside. I looked down to see that I was still on the couch, and that Lady Mia, Mother Miranda, and Lady Bela were all laying on me. Lady Mia and Lady Bela had claimed my sides, while Mother Miranda was laying on top of me. I just shrugged mentally, before smiling at the contact and closing my eyes, enjoying the warmth they provided and the comfort.

Okay, a bit of a shorter chapter, but I was tired of writing it, and I got what I needed to say done. So, hope you enjoyed this one, I'm still writing Blossom/Rowan's origin stories, which will probably be what comes next. Also, it'll be a two parter, with the first part being how they came to work for Miranda, and the second being how they became partners. At any rate, have a lovely day, and goodbye!
