TW: Violence, much violence

Y/N PoV:

I woke up to not just Bela, but Miranda and Mia as well staring down at me, smiling softly. While I was immediately confused, I was also too sleepy to properly express that, and so all that came out of my mouth was a jumbled mess of gay words.

"Why are there three hot ladies staring at me?" I murmured drowsily, and I heard two chuckles and a giggle, before all three of them settled around me, bathing me in warmth and love. I sighed quietly in contentment, snuggling into them as they cuddled around me, until I was in the center of a ball of affection.

"So cute... So very cute..." Miranda murmured this while giving me headpats, and I promptly fell back asleep, too warm and content to bother trying to stay asleep. After all, why would I bother struggling to stay awake in this pure bliss?

A few hours later, I actually woke up, and that was mostly due to Chloe yelling about something and then a gun going off somewhere. Instantly, I was being held by Bela while Miranda went to check it out, and Mia settled down next to us too, so I accepted the cuddles and quietly worried about Miranda.

"FUCKIN' CHRIST, I'M GONNA SEND YOUR ASS TO THE SHADOW REALM, BITCH BOY!" Rowan roared, and I could hear their saw spinning through the walls. More shots went off, and more curses from Rowan were heard, before running footsteps went up the stairs, and a man busted into the room, wearing a beige jacket. Bela hissed and Mia pulled a gun, while I just hid in Bela's arms since I didn't have a weapon. Before he could do anything, Chloe rammed a pitchfork through his chest, lifting him off the ground.

"God do I love being the fucking gardener!" She crowed, before dragging the squirming man away into the hallway. Everyone relaxed, and I moved behind Bela, hugging her close and kissing her forehead as she held onto me tightly. I squeezed her hand, and she slowly began to relax, resting against me. Rowan came into the room, their hat tilted on their head.

"We dealt with the weird bastard. Miranda is unharmed, so is everyone else. Except for my fucking coat, goddamnit." They shook their coat around, emphasizing the bullet hole in the sleeve, before walking out of the room, grumbling. Miranda flew in, quite literally, and got all of us in one big group hug. We stayed like that for a while, clumped together, and eventually we fell asleep like that. Well, Bela fell asleep, and we all followed suit.

3 weeks later, 8 pm:

Miranda glared at the woman sitting across from us, who was obviously trying not to flinch. Donna sat next to her, clutching her muscled arm, squeezing it from time to time. The woman was tall, with a strong figure and olive skin, and she wore an outfit that was oddly formal and informal. A vest and dress slacks with combat boots, with no tie and the sleeves rolled up, as well as black gloves. Her hair was up in a bun, and Donna had been clinging to her side the entire duration of their trip here. Angie was sitting on the woman's lap, which I thought was surprising because I had never met a more aggressive person when it came to new people.

"So... When does the fighting start?" Rowan muttered, and Blossom chided them, while I gave Donna a sympathetic look. Donna and I had gotten close over the last few weeks, talking about dolls and tea, and so I knew about her girlfriend before my three partners knew.

"I agree with Rowan. This staring contest is getting real old." Chloe grumbled, smoking a cigarette. Blossom chided her too, throwing the cigarette out the window. While those two quietly mumbled in argument, the tension thickened in between the two couches, and I just waited for Miranda or the woman to break. But neither one did, the staring contest becoming more and more intense, until even Bela and Mia seemed bored. Until finally, Miranda spoke.

"Alright, let's get to the fucking point. Who are you, and what're your intentions with my daughter?" I winced at her tone, feeling bad for Donna and Rose when they told Alcina.

"My name is Rose Callahan, Mother Miranda, which you may remember since you hired me for Donna's estate. My only intentions are to love Donna, and make her happy." The careful response was far different from how she normally talked, and I almost giggled. Miranda stared at her intently for another few minutes, before conceding when Donna gave her a pleading look, sighing.

"Fine. You have my blessing to date Donna. Just remember, I may not be visible, but I'm keeping a close eye on you." A murder of crows cawed outside, and I winced, knowing that Donna's house was going to be covered in crows for a while. Donna jumped up and hugged Miranda, who sighed and smiled, ruffling her hair a bit and hugging her back. I smiled at the two, and Donna hugged me next, whispering a thank you into my ear. I grinned, and hugged her back, glad to hear that my suggestion to tell Miranda now rather than later helped. Mia and Bela got hugs too, before Donna went back to Rose and cuddled into her side. Rose smiled and held her close, letting Donna rest her head on Rose's chest. Mia pulled out a deck of Go Fish cards, and Donna and I watched as our partners played Go Fish with their friends/employees, and I smiled, enjoying the quiet bickering and the sense of home. To me, this was now my little family, and I was more than happy with it.

HAHA, I'M NOT DEAD! Well, dead inside, but that ain't new. Howdy y'all, sorry for the complete lack of anything over the months, but I'm on summer vacation and slowly getting a will to write again, so that's good. Plus, I now have a girlfriend, who was and still is my best friend of three years, so that's been lovely. But now, I'm back, and it's time for me to hopefully finish this book and move onto a few others I've been wanting to write, as well as working on the Ghost in the background. If I can keep this going, at some point down the line I will absolutely rewrite The Doctor Is In, since that book is a bit of a shitshow in all honesty. But, that's all for now I suppose, since I need to get back to writing! At any rate, have a lovely day, and goodbye!
