Ch/10

After 9 long days of heartache & taking some time to herself, Hinata mustered up the courage to go home. Tbh, if she was thinking smartly she would've let Iruka buy her a luxury high-rise apartment but her paranoia didn't allow him. Thinking that if he did he would want a little sugar in return, despite him telling her multiple times that he just wanted her company & nothing more.

She finally gave the mature bachelor a chance in her rough timing and he turned out to be not so bad after all. The clear-eyed woman's biggest fear was ending up with some creep.

Those types of men that sniff your underwear, touch you in your sleep, heavily monitor you without you knowing...

But he actually gave her space, a nice wad of cash, and even a few tender words to get her through the horrible turmoil.

She now knows that her emotions clouded her judgment because she didn't need Naruto to move in with her, wishing that she gave herself a little more time to figure it out...

Here's the big moment she's been dreading.
Slowly exited her car & unlocking the big main door of her apartment building with the key, then made her way up the few stairs, and finally unlocked the front door to her apartment. Breathing deeply before slowly turning the doorknob to open the door with a shaky hand.

The front door crept open & Hina carefully entered the apartment, scanning the familiar space with weary orbs.

A soft sigh escaped her lips once she entered the living room and continued to scan the place like an unknown thing.

The place was quiet.
Hopefully, the guy that caused her heartache had gone away, for good this time.

She unsnapped her fanny pack and placed it on the couch before walking into her room, not even glancing at the other room. Too afraid of reliving that awful scene.

As soon as she entered her bedroom, Naruto who's been impatiently & anxiously waiting on her return, hopped on his feet from her bed.

She instantly turned around and shot for the door but he was much quicker. Pinning her with his weight as his strong arms wrapped around her. "Hinata, please listen to me."

His voice was strained as it occupied a sad tone & his blue orbs screamed happiness with a tint of disappointment behind them.

Hinata grunted and squirmed, trying to break free from him but he simply held her. "Get off me!" She couldn't even yell anymore and after all the tears she's cried, more tears fell.

"Listen baby I'm sorry." The guilt-written blond leaned his head down on her shoulder as he held her tighter. "I've been fucking goin' crazy without you." His voice cracked & he let the tears fall from his eyes without any shame.

It was then that he let her go, dropping to his knees without shame or hesitation, voice shaking with pain. "I wasn't thinking straightly, Hinata. She doesn't mean anything to me."

He bowed his head before leaning down to kiss her feet. "I love you so much, Hinata. You're the only girl for me... I've missed you this past week." He spoke through his wet tears. "It's been nothing but torture for me. I promise I will never cheat on you again..."

The desperate man continued kissing her feet as if she was a respected deity, even though in his eyes she was an absolute goddess.

"I'll give you my password to everything. I'll give you money. I'll give you whatever you want, Sugar Pop. But please, don't leave me again." He was now hugging her hips & staining her waist with his tears.

Naruto was pleading his heart to her. Expressing the deepest feelings that held him captive for her. "I love you so much."

Hinata's arms were crossed and her lips quivered as she looked down at him, tears silently flowing and her heart skipping a beat.
