Ch/27 *Long Af*

*Flashback*

Hinata had been staying at a hotel for about 3 days and while she was there, she thought about how she didn't wanna celebrate her birthday, it was actually dreadful tbh.

Turning 24, with no happiness is something she didn't feel like going through.

She just wanted to fade away in the background until she woke up into a better reality. When she stayed a second night at the hotel she reached out to her parents because she was really at her wit's end and needed financial support.

Not once had Hina ever asked before, but the cash she had was starting to run low and she knew that she couldn't spend it all on hotels or find another place with no income coming in and the apartments were too high.

But they turned her down and told her to figure it out. Being sure to tell her how horrible of a big sister she was and they'd never forgive her for beating up Hanabi 'over some guy.'

So not only had she left but now she wasn't sure if she could survive without him which was horrible because she didn't wanna go back but it seemed as if she didn't have a choice.

Hina even thought about moving in with someone else but she wasn't sure how'd she feel about a new roomie and if they'd probably wouldn't have liked it that she had no substantial income to pay her half of the rent & bills.

She made the depressing choice of going back to Naruto under one condition: they break up and do their own thing officially.

"Is your Sugar Popsicle gone for good now?"

Naruto's bags had bags under his eyes from not sleeping for days since Hinata left and he was trying to come to terms with them breaking up.

"She wants to move back in as long as I agree to leave her alone for good until she can get back on her feet."

Sasuke internally groaned at that but he was gonna do everything in his power to convince the dobe why this was good for him.

"You have no choice but to let it happen, I mean let's face it. You haven't been the best boyfriend to her."

Naruto snapped his head at him. "Don't you think I know that?" He didn't need someone else to remind him of his trash behavior.

"Hey, don't get mad at me. I'm just saying this might be what's best for both of you. Besides, you've been acting like a single man..."

"Maybe you're right..."

He agreed with Hinata about them both finally being single and letting her move back till she found her own place.

But he knew one thing for sure, she wasn't gonna be bringing any random ass guys around unless they wanted their legs beat in.

The same day Hinata moved back in, even though she hadn't taken any of her things since she just bolted out of the door.

She just left with the stuff Naruto gave back to her and he guessed she was DoorDashing little things here & there.

Now that she was back Naruto was trying his best to stay out of her way, but as always he couldn't last too long staying away from her.

Hina was in her old room putting on lotion when that asshole just invited himself in without knocking.

"What the hell!" She covered her chest but her bottom half was still exposed. "You're in my room, remember?" Her brows puckered and she narrowed her eyes at him furiously.

"How many times are you gonna keep telling me that?" His black orbs wandered off and when she noticed he was ogling at the bottom half of her body she gasped and crossed her legs. "Can you please get out?" Both of her cheeks were pink, her gaze shyly fell to the floor, and her voice was barely audible.
