Hinata had a wet morning and she did not regret it. Max taught her another whole meaning of phone sex. That man had her ready to speak wedding vows...

She enjoyed not driving her car since she could save gas and still take precautions just in case. Just because Naruto was speaking to her about their shared feelings about Kushina didn't mean that all of a sudden he had a change of heart.

That same morning she went to workout in her apartment's gym then she took a nice hot shower and got dressed before starting her day.

She checked herself out in the mirror and gazed at her dark blue long-sleeve blouse with thumb holsters, and her stretchy matching bottoms. Once she put on her strawberry lipgloss, the pretty woman stepped into her dark blue sneakers, then she headed out.

Right when she spotted her new favorite cafe her phone rang and when she double-tapped on her airpods the phone answered.

She answered flirtatiously. "Hinata?" She instantly regretted the tone. "Naruto?" He's heard her speak sensually before but never in that tone and it made his dick...

"Um... are you gonna be busy today? I wanted to visit my..." Just when she was about to cross the street, a car passed a red light and almost hit her. "Oh my fucking god!" She almost stumbled as she stepped back.

"Hinata what's wrong?!"

Some people immediately came to her aid and asked if she was alright. "What a fucking lunatic! That car came out of nowhere!" She's never seen that car before and maybe the driver was drunk but it did make her feel like she was gonna be hit on purpose.

She calmed her breathing & thanked everyone for checking on her then she chose to skip out on the cafe and just walked straight ahead on the sidewalk with the other group of people.

"Hinata? What's wrong?"

She almost forgot she was still on the phone. "I... I almost got ran over." He instantly stood on his feet and jogged to his car. "What?! Are you alright?" She inhaled. "Yeah, I am... I guess I just have to be more careful crossing the street next time."

Naruto started his car and pulled out of the parking lot. "It sounds like someone tried to hit you. Where are you? I'll pick you up."

She shook her head no as if he could see her. "That won't be necessary." He drove his car in the distance as if he knew her exact location. "Please, I insist."

They went back and forth for the next 20 minutes and when she was telling him no again, he saw her and pulled up on the side of her. "Hinata..."

He rolled the passenger window down and she scoffed when the line went dead.

His hazard was on as he waited for her on the side of the road. "Are you gonna come in or do I have to drag you in here?" He playfully told her but she squinted her eyes and crossed her arms. "What are you doing over here in this part of town?"

Focus. Focus.

She looked so damn sexy and his dick couldn't handle it. "I actually have a gym membership around this way..." The pit of her stomach swirled in knots, Max also had a gym membership around that area but she hoped it wasn't the same one. "What about you?"

Hinata ignored his question, who's to say he wasn't lying? "Naruto, I appreciate the offer but I can get an Uber." He sighed. "I want you to save your money."
