A Little Lost

We make a pit stop at Colin's house before we hed to mine. Since Jonah was staying longer this time and he was little Colin gave me his key and gave me a list of stuff Jonah would more than likely need during his stay. He also told me that Jonah was in love with Bimby and that it would help comfort him. When we pulled up to Colin's house Jonah looked visibly confused. I told him what we were there to do and that aided his confusion. We both went in found the stuff we needed plus a little extra and with a few trips to the car we got everything loaded up and made our way to my place.

I type in the passcode to get past my security gate and I pull in. A few of my house staff come outside as I park to help unload all of Jonah's things. I inform them of the room to bring the stuff and they immediately do so. I have known all of my staff for many years before I employed them and I trust all of them with my life which is why I hired them. I get Jonah out of the car and ask him what he wants to do first.

"Can we play a game pwease?" Jonah asks with an adorable smile. "Wif Adwian?" I didn't clearly hear the last thing he said be cause he mumbled it so I asked.

"You want to play a game and what?" He looks up at me and repeats himself. I think it's adorable but Adrian had some calls and a meeting that I wasn't sure he was done with. "He had some work this morning but if you go sit on the couch I'll go che-", As I was finishing my sentence Adrian came down the stairs with a huge smile on his face.

"I heard my favorite little buddy was here!"

"ADWIAN!" Adrian runs to Jonah and picks him up. They spin around a couple times and Adrian stops to not make Jonah too sick. He continues to hold him and Jonah tells him about our game plans.

"I would LOVE to play a game with you. What game were yout thinking?" Adrian says amusing Jonah. Jonah taps his finger on his chin, "Hide and seek?"
Adrian looks at me and I nod. Jonah wiggles out of Adrian's arms. He immediately begins counting so Adrian and I run to find hiding places not too hard for Jonah to find but not the easiest either. I hide in a closet adjacent to the living room. I hear him say '20' and that he's coming. He begins to run around and giggle I hear him getting closer and his giggles fades. After a few minutes I hear talking.

"Aww man you found me!" I faintly hear Adrian call out. "Now let's try to find Damon." Then I hear them both start to giggle and walk around looking for me. I give them a little hint and make a small cough. I hear Jonah gasp and run towards my direction. Then the door swings open.

"You found me!" I shout in defeat. He giggles again and my heart melts. We continue to play several more rounds once Jonah gets a little bit tired I make dinner. It's just some quick grilled cheese sandwiches but it filled us up. Jonah decides that we should watch a movie together to end the night.

"What movie do you want to watch?" I ask Jonah as he finishes the last bite of his sandwich. "Rapunzel! It my favwit!" Adrian and I both chuckle at his excitement. I quickly wash and put away the dishes while Adrian sets up the movie in the theatre room.

When I get into the theatre I am informed that Jonah has assigned us seats. Him in the middle, Adrian on his left, and me on his right which I think adorable. We all sit in our seats and begin the movie. Halfway through the I hear light snoring and I look down and see Jonah asleep on my arm. I would let him stay that way but I know he would be uncomfortable once he woke up. So I gently pick him up and take him to his room.

"I'll be right back." I whisper to Adrian who nods.

Once I lay him down he starts to whine and begins to wake up. Colin told me that he might do this and to get him a warm bottle of milk so I go through his bag and find a bottle. I rub his head to calm him which only works a little so I rush down to the kitchen to get some milk and heat it for him. I then head back and hand it to him. He immediately quiets down and closes his eyes as he drinks. I quietly close the door and head back down to Adrian.

"So remember when Colin pulled me out of the room to talk to me?" I ask him waiting for a response before I continue. He nods. "Well first he asked me if Jonah could stay and I told him yes. Then I asked if Jonah was interested in a permanent daddy and he said that he is and has been mentioning me nonstop since he left."

"That's great! You're going to ask right?" Adrian excitely asks.

"Yeah not right now since he's pretty vulnerable but definitely in the near future." Saying that sentence made my heart flip because what I thought was a one time thing turned could turn into a very valuable part of my life that I am estatic for.

"That's awesome man. I really hope he says yes but I'm gonna head to bed Manny wasn't happy with today's meeting so he's having another tomorrow." Adrian rolls his eyes, "Goodnight"

"Night." I say and head to my own bed aswell.
